Can you imagine theses guys will be on tour with Exist, Archspire, Beyond Creation and Obscura? This will probably be the best tour of the century. I can't wait.

I didn't get to catch that tour but I did get to see them a couple weeks ago with Archspire, Entheos, and Vulvodynia and it was fuckin' wild.

I am no Joel and I don't know his life story but he left Inferi to pursue a career in mechanical engineering. There are millions of mechanical engineers in the world but only 1 person can say they play bass for Inferi, just saying😛 I joke of course, I have nothing but respect for Joel and I wish him the best for the future❤️

Not sure why anyone would dislike this... I mean, even if you weren't a fan of the music, even if you thought the bass line should be 'funkier' or more reserved, how could you not at least appreciate the talent and dedication it took to play at that level. Some people are just jaded and jealous. Only explanation.

Don't you just love it when, on KZread, a couple of random clicks down the line and you arrive at something you can't stop listening to? The first thing I do when I turn on my pc is play this video. Only problem is listening to it once is never enough ...so very addictive. This chap is ace so it makes one wonder what the 15 people who dislike it are looking for or were expecting.

I'm a guitar player and seen guys like him or guys on the drums like Luke Holland or Antonio Sánchez made me realize guitar is the less impresive instrument in a band, yeah shred with a pick he equal that speed without a plastic device, also there are exceptions like Jason Richardson or Ichika and many many many MANY others but fuck he made guitar players look like pussies and with less impression for people who can't recognize low frequency sounds like me. that's why I play guitar but I always wanted to be a bass player. MAN YOU'RE SICK!

Honestly I could never do this. I can see myself getting an Inferi song up to speed at some point (I’m a hobby guitarist, an enthusiast, not a master musician like Malcolm and these guys), but I cannot see myself ever being able to do what this guy does.

Yaaaah Tosin is something else I guess, but still the task is harder on bass. You could look up Dominic Forest Lapointe or the Spawn of Possession Guy, they are both crazy and definitely in the same realm of talent as Abasi, just one has a guitar and the other bass. (I guess strength vs finesse ? its a fucking debate lol)

I prefer a lot the mix of this to the one of the original song. And I feel like the singing doesn't add much to the song, it is already so awesome without it !

This playthrough is proof that instrumentals for Inferi exist. Is there a possibility that they'll ever be uploaded? The vocalist is damn talented, don't get me wrong...I'm just not a fan of the style he does at all, kinda shrieky while I prefer throaty growls. Sounds absolutely killer this way, I don't have to ignore them to hear the incredible playing.

That is some astonishing technique! The music is utter nonsense though. To my ears, it's just strung together licks that are essentially exercises. But man, the ability it takes to memorize it, and play it, is admirable and enviable.

That's all great and dandy, but now they need a proper bass player that would play the ... you know ... bass lines?
