Lena Speaks Romanian, Italian,. English, Russian and iirc Ukranian, and yea, they toured wih Jinjer, and by all reports are friends.

The singers name is Elena Cataraga but she uses the stage name Lena Scissorhands. She's good friends with Tatiana. She has her own KZread channel as well called "BANANAS".

She is total sweetheart as well she is awesome songwriter as well.

I had never heard of Infected Rain when I saw them opening up for Butcher Babies a few months ago. They put on an outstanding show and I gotta say, I was very impressed with them, especially Lena's presence on stage. Definitely a band worth paying attention to.

Tatiana and Lena have been friends for many years. In fact Tatiana has performed guest vocals on live performances of Infected Rain's song "Me Against You".

Awesome! I love this song and video. It is so haunting. There is a cute video from when both IR and Jinjer were starting out of Tatiana and Lena singing the IR song Me Against You. Tati's mic is a bit too low and the sound isn't perfect but it is worth checking out for fun. Also please do Home Back by Jinjer. It was written about their hometown being caught in the 2014 war but is even more poignant today. There's also an address released by Eugene on the Jinjer Metal Band channel a few days ago. He is in Kyiv along with Roman and Vlad that goes into more detail about the stuff that ordinary people face in a city under siege. Thanks! Cheers!

Lena Scissorhands has done some great collaborations with other groups. Another couple of songs featuring her as lead singer: "The Regress" and "Rule of 21" by Seas On the Moon are both great songs I think you would like. Cheers! 🥃🤘

Woow! I didn't know that there are people in Romania who make music reactions. Both Infected Rain and Jinjer have performed several times in Romania, including at Rockstadt Extreme Fest (in Rasnov). From Infected Rain I also recommend Serendipity, Mold, Passerby and Taphephobia. 🙂

True. Liliac are amazing. All 5 are super talented. Independent. I haven't seen anybody with better stage presence than Melody Cristea other than Ronnie James Dio himself.

Infected RAIn is one of my fav band, and Lena is one of the kindest person with her fan. You could react also to "the earth mantra" or "fighter" always by them

I love both Jinjer and Infected Rain. I'd say generally Tatiana is more skilled with her growls and can replicate the sounds better live but Lena is able to put more emotion into her sound. I feel like Tatiana also gets more help from her band because they are all insane, where as Lena really needs to carry with her sounds because instrumentally they don't do anything too far outside the norm.

Another artist from a rough past who has made herself into a good singer.

I think the same, it handles the change of tones and tempo control very well, and throughout the album it is like that, which is the most personal said by her words. I highly recommend Endless Stairs, Freaky Carnival and my favorite and I think you would like it very much, Peculiar Kind Of Sanity, the ending of that song is incredible.

Lena is really cool. YT channel BANANAS. Scream style: "Fry Scream", Melissa Cross helped her. Check out her teeth any time after 2019's Earth Mantra. She pulls it off imo. Super sexy. She has an FB page, she may even talk to you on it.

Greetings from Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany btw: since you seem to focus on emotions (just like I do) - I highly recommend watching “Steven Wilson - Routine“. Completely different kind of music, but a true masterpiece. Can't listen to it more that once a week, cause it's so emotionally exhausting. You live in Germany? How cool is that?

Oh wow, I hadn't realized how connected you are to the region. Both Tati and Lena got started performing with growls in 2008, and I'd highly suspect Lena was inspired by Otep just as Tatiana was. Everything I've heard from them is good. Passerby, Black Gold, and Mold are a few newer ones. Me Against You is an older one. I don't know how much of a gamer Lena is but she has Mario tats and both the videos to Me Against You and Mold have connections to gaming, the former more about competition and the later more about trolls. Id suggest the song Jinjer wrote about their hometown getting caught in the 2014 war called Home Back. It's even more heartbreaking today. There is also an address by Eugene their bassist and manager. All 3 guys are stuck in Kyiv while Tatiana was fortunately in the US with her husband Alex Lopez of Suicide Silence when this all started.

Lena is amazing. She gives an amazing insight into her life and Infected Rain on her channel, Bananas. From her channel on KZread she said she speaks Russian, Romanian, Italian, English, and Spanish.

I subscribe to her KZread channel (it's called Bananas) and her Insta because she's an absolute blast. Lena is really funny and even does cooking segments from time to time as well as interviews with all kinds of people. Also, her dog Luna Scissorpaws (best name ever) is adorable and they post together a lot. Cheers.
