This album ruined me. Nothing else is heavy enough anymore. It's all show tunes now. Edit: I love that this has turned into an overall discussion about music in one way or another. I've learned of several new bands that I may have never otherwise found and so on and I think that's the most metal shit ever. This may not seem like much to anyone else but this entire conversation has been brilliant.

@EMANUELsonic i wish more people thought like you. I spent a lot of my spare time educating myself on how the world runs and it can get so frustrating. Take the racial discrimination in America atm. Cant people see that these people use racism as a tool to divide and concur for example. Most ppl cant see the forest for the trees and its frustrating. I do my best and will keep doing just that. Thanks again for your wise words and hope you get through the pandemic safely.

Lots of people think this is devil music, but looking at the lyrics, I think they may be a Christian band. Striking similarities between these lyrics and a large portion of The Wholly By Baal. Remember kids. Everything in this realm is opposite of what you've been told. The Rising Sun/Son Zombie God doesn't save, he takes you to hell. Or back here, which is worse. Can't fool me Infant Annihilator. I see you.

Their vocals are better than any deathcore/death metal/black metal for that matter and that is saying something Their bassist is a fucking animal when they display his talents on solos And last but not least their guitarists are fucking godly Everything about this band screams talent and how their vocalist does his vocals blow my fucking mind, I thank Satan for this band

I've waited almost four years for this. From the beginning of my freshman year in high school when all they had out were TPLOP demos to when TPLOP was released in December 2012 to now. The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution was in non stop rotation for an entire year and to this day is still one of my favorite Deathcore records of all time. Their new record defiled my innards, put them back together and did it again all within the span of an hour. Holy shit is this album one hell of a devastating ride. This record is infinitely more evil than The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution. There's actual atmosphere and occasional sections of melody throughout the constant brutality that make it that way. I got chills throughout literally every song during certain parts, like in Unholy Gravebirth when Dickie starts snarling like a fucking dog or in Crucifilth when the slam kicks in. Musically this album is much better put together than the previous album, there's actual structure in quite a few of the songs. Eddie does a lot more riffing and soloing on this record, and when I say a lot I mean it. This album doesn't even touch the number of breakdowns TPLOP had, they're actually pretty few and far between. Some songs don't even have them. There's definitely not as much chaotic noodling either though it's still there, but even though it's not as much, they made it even more chaotic. Not to mention his bass playing got a lot better as well, some of the slapping and sweeping this dude does is incredible. Aaron's drumming is still absolutely fucking insane, he's even faster now than he was on TPLOP, which is mind blowing. Contrary to popular belief, I really don't think his drumming is fake. I think he can play at those speeds due to his old MySpace drum covers he has (looking at you Laceration Penetration), but definitely not as clean as the album makes it seem. It's definitely cleaned up during the recording process. Honestly my only problem with this entire record is that the kick pedals are way too loud. During quite a few parts it just overbears everything and the only thing you hear are what seems to be low end machine gun farts, which isn't to pleasurable. Other than that his playing is still amazing and is definitely what makes Infant Annihilator, Infant Annihilator. Finally, onto the vocals. Dear god this is everything I've ever wanted in this band. Dan was a fantastic vocalist but I always thought he wasn't a good fit for IA. You had these crazy instrumentals and a simple vocalist who did highs, lows and occasional gutturals. I wanted more guttural, shrieking high stuff and that's exactly what Dickie has. The sounds this guy can make are infuckinghuman. He's compared to Travis Ryan a lot and I can see why, but I think he's better than Travis, at least in his highs. His lyrics are actually well thought out as well, still gory and disgusting as hell, but well put together. All in all, I'm not sure if I like this album better than TPLOP but that might just be due to nostalgia. I'm gonna give it plenty of more listens as time goes on. The entire album is amazing, I love every song, but I have to say my favorites are (not in any order) "Unholy Gravebirth", "Crucifilth", "Motherless Miscarriage", "Neutered in Utero", "Blasphemian" and "Neonatalimpolionecrophiliation".

Plus musically they've def expanded and grown, I fucking love all the slap bass parts as well lol I'm so fucking glad they're back.

Lots of people don't seem to understand Infant Annihilator. Their soul purpose is to be as brutal and extreme as possible (musically and sometimes sexually lol). They're not a concert kinda band. So keeping their music "playable" isn't really necessary. Yes Aaron uses triggers and yes a lot of the drums are just straight programmed. That's irrelevant. He's still a insanely good drummer. Same goes for vocals, you think Dickie could perform any of these songs live? Lol. Who cares, the music is SUPPOSED to be ridiculously extreme. They're a group called Infant Annihilator ffs

And of course dickie can do his vocals, he does them in interviews/collabs all the time There's a big difference between playing/screaming in your home, your personalized studio versus being on stage performing for an hour plus potentially. If the band was capable of playing these ridiculous songs live without the songs being diminished, I'm sure they would

I´t says something like " the cradle rocks and the wood beginnst to splinter" or somethinmg like that... it isn´t the heaviest part but idk it´sthat scream.... it gives me goosebumps... i hope there will be an album after this... and after that... and so on... u guys made it far up into my top 10 favorite bands... way far... i´m a metalmusican myself and u guys have a fucking shitload of respect gained from me.. i thought i had to live with the fact that there is no band out there that really does the stuff i like... it´s always good but nerver perfect... i think my journey has ended... i hope i can show and explain this to as much pple possible to spread your music as far as possible..
