No one can know how many buckets of water Bridget carried to the house for the windows. It would have easy for her to use that to help Lizzie wash up. 🤔
We will probably never really know.who the killer was.
New evidence show that the time of death may be wrong. Abby Borden room was hotter and Andrew Borden was downstairs and not as hot so decomposition was quicker upstairs.

So what? I don't think a half an hour or so makes any difference, the circumstantial evidence all clearly points to Lizzie.

True. But it doesn’t really matter any way you look at it. Abby was dressed in her house work clothes, or her “dusting” clothes. She was not dressed formally. Therefore, she went up there around 9-930 to make up the room as reported by both Bridgett and Lizzie, and never left that room alive. Very unlikely a murderer would hide up there, also how they would, for over an hour to then murder Andrew. Plus the testimony of Bridgett saying Lizzie was giggling at the top of the stairs. Abby could be seen from there, and it also puts Lizzie at the scene of the crime close to when they occurred. To me, this isn’t a mystery. Lizzie did it. The fact that she got away with it is the true mystery, and why it’s still fascinating all these years later.

They looked at stomach contents not just blood coagulation. Abby hadnt digested her breakfast it was still in her stomach.
