I am happy to see the end of this season tbh ; very stressful with a lot of adversity and obstacles to overcome. Accompanied by many underwhelming performances and results. Lets see how INEOS does from here out and hopefully bring a new approach ; they certainly have a lot to prove imo. At this moment have no idea what INEOS are actually going to do , especially with the manager. With ETH i am about 50/50 on him , last season showed a lot of promise / did very well and does seem keen on working with and developing young players. This season hasn't gone well , insane amount of injuries really hindered us but still some clear issues and mistakes on ETH's end as well. I would probably tentatively keep ETH if it were up to me but if its a top quality viable replacement not totally against the logic if INEOS make a change. But it can't be an underwhelming Potter or Southgate type. To be determined it seems , does not seem anyone genuinely knows what INEOS are thinking or actually going to do ; highlighted by the conflicting reports.

I like Branthwaite and he does have a very high ceiling but if we got him we would need a pacy top class RCB as well. Branthwaite still a bit raw , has development to go and even if not slow not the most mobile either. Don't think him and Licha (if Licha can prove fit again) would necessarily be a balanced great CB pair as early as next term ; especially as JB a left-footed not super pacy CB. In a high-line system (if we get to that) you need pace to deal with transition moments. To me a Todibo or Bremer type much more the priority and if the funds are there for Branthwaite as well by all means get that done. For me just not sure Licha and Branthwaite would be a complimentary balanced rock solid pair for next season.

Top class players won´t come to United because we are not a top class club. All we can attract is raw talent if we´re lucky and Arsenal, Liverpool or City don´t get in our way.

@@user-bc3js3sd6v most of those 3 clubs not really looking or desperate for a RCB at the moment. Maybe not world class but very good RCBs the likes of Todibo or Bremer are available and seemingly would join us. Also neither would cost a fortune. A CB of that ilk is a priority ; Branthwaite for me would have to be an "in addition to" type signing. I just don't see a still somewhat raw not the most pacy also left-footed Branthwaite as a priority or ideal partner for Licha. Ntm Branthwaite will likely cost more than Todibo or Bremer.

@@AlexBB77 I get your point but we bought an Atalanta sub to play him as our main striker. I really like Hojlund BTW. But I am guessing if we bring Brathwaite he´s gonna be the main defender, not an addition to another even more expensive CB.

@@user-bc3js3sd6v new regime in control of sporting matters , transfers included , so we will see what they do. I agree if we buy Branthwaite he will likely be the marquee CB signing ; which is why if it was up to me i wouldn't do it this summer. A Todibo or Bremer much more the priority and who we should sign first at CB. And unless we find the funds via sales , or a player swap plus cash or one of the signings can work a loan with an obligation to defer the fee ; me personally just would not prioritize Branthwaite this summer. Not the most pacy left footed CB just doesn't make sense to partner LIcha imo.

It does not matter owe you a sign if we dont get 8 players out and bring in 5,6 players, 2 cb 1 lb 1 lw 1 st 1 cm all the dead wood have to go and i think no euro game will be better to build the team no distractions i hope ten hag as one more season to better his first season

I really hope INEOS strategy is not based on how ´quick´ we are in the market. You can be as ´quick´ as you want but football agents are always gonna look for the BEST offer instead of the ´quickest´ one. And if we are gonna stink of desperation get ready for more Antonys to come.
