It seems like just yesterday (though it was '06-'08!) Takuma Sato was slipping & sliding around F1 tracks in those ridiculous "Super Aguri" Hondas, the least competitive cars I've ever seen on an F1 grid! He deserved this Indy 500; he is as fearless as any driver anywhere.

been a fan of his ever since he made that epic pass on Alonso in 07 to claim points with that POS Super Aguri. Instant respect was earned. so stoked for him to have this win, it's beyond huge and it couldn't have happened to a nicer dude too.

You'd be done after just 15 minutes if you had to withstand the prolonged g forces these drivers face for hours on end. You wouldn't have the stamina, nor would the majority of your favorite athletes in other sports. Racing is indeed a sport, just because you're ignorant of how hard these drivers train, the forces they endure, the extreme risk they take, and not only that they have bigger balls than anyone in the sports world. You'd cry at 220mph.

and yet you're just spouting off your ignorant ass opinion and not giving anything of substance to back it up. lets look up the definition of "sport" "an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment." Racing fits all of those criteria, it's a sport whether you like it or not.
