INDUSTRIAL METAL from Start to Finish! (sharing my secrets)
Музыка
I've always been influenced by bands like Rammstein, KMFDM, Ministry, Fear Factory etc...This is not how THEY produce, this is how I like to work and I hope this video will help you create some music :)
Thanks for watching :)

@@Tonepusher I agree. I really like the way you combine the more electronic industrial with industrial metal elements, so that it's not like a lot of base industrial metal bands where the metal elements are in the foreground and the industrial presence is minimal. But you have found the perfect balance in making music that can be both industrial and metal. Can't wait for your new album after all these years!😊
I've been following N/N for ages - I'm happy that I get to see how you guys do your magic! Will be incorporating your tips into my music, thank you and keep it up!

So glad to have finally found an industrial metal sound designer/content creator. Your Mick Gordon/Doom inspired presets finally pushed me to purchase Serum. Have you thought about making an "Author and Punisher" inspired preset collection? He's one of my favorite industrial metal artists.

Yeah I'm working on some industrial packs at the moment. Probably something old school to start with, along the lines of FLA, Skinny Puppy, Ministry, F242 etc...

Amazing vid! Thank u! Ive lloved industrial all my life. But wasnt sure how to use guitar stuff ( i mainly just do EDM and soundscape stuff in my DAW ). Gona see if my sister will let me borrow her PRS guitar and amp thats been collecting dust for a decade lol😂. Ill put it to good use!

Hey man, found this video by accident; so happy I did. This is my jam. Your track sounds fierce! The shreddage hydra thing is quite cool, are you running the vst guitar through the same virtual amps as your real guitar? Mixing the synths in is so cool.

Yes all the guitars are using Neural DSP Cali, but with different mics for a wider effect. Also different mic placement of course. :) Neural DSP stuff is reallllly good. I like the Gojira plugin too, sounds so good. I'm probably going to buy the Soldano too at some point.
Any tutorial for that synth lead? I know it's simple, but i need exactly this one that sounds like a huge siren when played at higher octaves. It's very common in Witch house. Also, any link to listen to the final track? Is it released yet? @Tonepusher

I did not make a particular tutorial for that synth lead (but I should and I will haha thanks for the idea) But the sound is part of my ''Industrial Metal'' preset pack. here: www.tonepusher.com/product-page/industrial-metal-vol-1 And the song wasn't meant to be released, it's a demo for my preset packs. Do you think it should be released? haha thanks 🤘
Any special or custom presets you are using on your Fortin Nameless? Or is that strait out of the box? Sounds great.

It's Fortin Cali and yeah it's the default tone. I just use different mics for L and R guitars. 57 and Condenser 414 if I remember correctly
💪
Cool stuff! Very insightful! I do tend to layer Shreddage with real guitars too, also, because I'm a drummer! 😂 I made this Fear Factory inspired track that I need to release. Would be interesting to hear your thought on that one.

haha yeah well it's cool to layer guitars with software depending on what sound you want to achieve of course, but for industrial it works pretty well!!
