This is going to be fun!!!

The three of you are so different in workstyle, but all three so talented. That country style drawer became artsy!

I ended up crying,thinking that this was a distressed piece owned by a dear friend's Mother whose granddaughter wanted it to stay as it was. I make stuff up,fitting into present day realities. This was such a lovely working of the colors given but helping the piece live again. And the three of you are a privilege to see on this day of chaotic troubling news. Thank you for making my first visit to you memorable.

Great idea Dixie Belle! This challenge was a winner for all. Thank you Brandy, Christina, and Crys'Dawna for sharing your unique processes and art. You saved me during a most arduous year and my home is proof. I'm especially indebted to Brandy--our ambassador of blue in all its hues--for introducing me to her craft and Dixie Belle. ❤

I had to go back and watch this again. I loved watching you paint the top in double speed. It's helpful to see how it comes together. This piece is just beautiful!

The surprise materials was a fun way to get the creative juices going. This piece is remarkable.

I loved watching you paint this! Painting is my stress relief (I'm an ER nurse that just came off medical leave a couple weeks ago). It lets my mind let go of everything that it doesn't pay to worry about at the moment. Watching you paint dates the same 😊

The patina paint with a basting brush and then the patina spray .. wow! Just stunning!!

The patina paint and the sealer really gave the piece more character so I am impressed with all your products and colors in your box really and I am in complete awe at the way you made the piece turn out so well! I'm glad you made sure to show the way you did the major things that we needed to know so we can try to do it at home. Thank you ladies and dixie bell for bringing them together and making this possible!

I have learned so much from these 3 challenges but Brandy's paint technique tutorial is "WoW"! I cannot wait to try it! Thank you so much Brandy and to Dixie Belle for opening my eyes to the possibilities!

I LOVE the rust dripping from the handles. I enjoyed learning this technique.

Brought it all together

I wasn't sure how this process would turn out, but all I can say is WOW! It is amazing! I love the rusted look from the paint under the hardware, that technique is genius!

Wow! what a final look. I love the brazen look and would never have thought that a drippy patina heavily distressed five color cross hatch brush stroke would look so finished! I am impressed and have a lot to learn. LOL!

Oh my! This turned out beautifully! I appreciate the step by step explanation and time frames too. The crosshatch brushstroke and layering was new to me. I am in awe!

Wow! The cross hatching technique gives a stunning finish. It worked perfectly with all the various colors you had to use. Amazing!

I appreciate the format of your videos. And they are lengths that are easy to watch in one sitting.

Ohh, I was pleasantly surprised by the finished look! The patina spray on the door pulls was the perfect finishing touch. Very cool!

Holy Crap! That is G O R G E O U S! It matches my bedroom perfectly and has given me new inspiration for how to finish that gigantic entertainment/wardrobe cabinet that I was terrified to do in only one single color. Such an interesting technique to give a piece some much character and charm. What a transformation!

I loved watching the collaboration. Each piece was so unique. Brandy you work like an artist, in my eyes. I couldn’t see where you were going with the cross hatching until about midway and then it appeared. What you did with the hardware was amazing. I can’t wait to try this. Now every piece of old furniture I see, I immediately think of how I can paint it to make it a new more beautiful piece.

I think you nailed the “toasted marshmallow”. I’m so glad you kept saying keep with it. I’d be pretty nervous about that day one but you had a vision. So fun. All you lovely ladies are an inspiration.

I was really inspired seeing the patina paint

I really didn't expect it to come out so great just watching from the first part of the video..so many colors cross hatching everywhere, and suddenly I see a work of art..so much texture. I wouldn't have expected any less from Brandy, though. Thanks for all the tips and careful explanations...and for the inspiration.
