    I love this man. I've commented on a couple of your videos before I think. I work in these panels every day. Hearing you go over some of this stuff helps to reinforce what I learn at work. We are doing a scada conversion on a waste water treatment facility. Some of our LCPs are huge, they contain 4 or 5 racks of PLCs. We run hundred of control wires to them coming from motor control centers, VFDs or to the equipment directly. I'm absorbing everything you say whether I know about it or not. I appreciate the series, keep up the good work.

    As a mechanical engineer, Ive designed only 2 of these panels before and they were much smaller with much less automation. Currently Im working on a much larger panel with much more automation and power requirements and this video series is invaluable to help me along. I especially like how you broke up the Power distribution into individual parts like that with separate terminal blocks for the neutral, ground and hot lines. Im copying that!

    When I need to turn off a circuit breaker in my home's service panel, instead of worrying about if I turned off the correct circuit breaker, I just turn off the main circuit breaker. It is easy and 100% safe, even though I have to reset all of the clocks in my house. Frank Reiser M.S.

    How can you make a voltage divider for analog input. I have 24V-DC on my panel and I want to get 12V DC. I know how to do it in a bread board but how you do the same thing on an industrial panel, is there is special terminals to do that job. I would appreciate your help.

    So the Power Supply is technically a transformer since it's input from 120VAC to output 24VDC.

  • @ryanrunke7030

    @ryanrunke7030

    Transformers do not switch AC to DC. Power supply switches AC to DC and also steps the voltage down

  • @dennisonyango2455

    Why to we ground the negative DC?

  • @RSPSupply

    @RSPSupply

    5 ай бұрын

    Grounding the negative DC terminal is important for safety, reducing electrical noise, stabilizing voltage, and meeting regulatory requirements. It provides a safe path for excess current in case of faults, improves signal quality, ensures stable voltage levels, and ensures compliance with electrical codes.
