LeAnne this IS delicious! I have a pot cooling on the counter now to put in the fridge. I used a can of coconut cream/water, Hershey's Special Dark cocoa and some Quaker 5 minute steel cut oats I needed to use so it was fast. The amount of cinnamon and maple syrup is perfect too, I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe. It got my husband's attention, I think he was expecting no bake cookies. :)

Definitely going to have to make this!!! Maybe I can get away without making cookies/bars for my husband then. Esp using the instant pot, bet that would speed things up quick since that’s how I do my yogurt.

I make something similar for my daughter who is not a big eater. I add a few egg yolks too.

I have made mine using chocolate milk, then once cooked I serve it with sliced bananas and maple syrup.

Oh yummy..I love steal cut oatmeal..I'm just too lazy to make it unless I can find instant ones..I have a question ❓ how come very few Amish/Mennonite people live in Mississippi? I would love to have Amish or Mennonite neighbors and stores here ..I think they'd be the best people to have as neighbors or friends

No Amish in North Dakota and very few Mennonites here also (there are 2 churches but are very close to Canadian border). We do have several Hutterite colonies though. But I agree, I would like some around me as well.
