Basically, Jakarta-Nusantara will become what Istanbul and Ankara became. Ankara was a town with a population of 20-60 until the declaration of the republic in Turkey, when it was declared the capital instead of Istanbul due to its very central location and linked transportation system. Nowadays, even though Istanbul is still the largest province with 15 million people, Ankara's population has increased to 5 million in a century.

Yep but id say this is more extreme. Nusantara will be isolated - it's on borneo (a remote, rather undeveloped island) and not near any major cities. It will have to be a port city for the first few decades, unless there's some rapid expansion across borneo. Which imo is a disaster considering already 50% of borneo's rainforests have been cleared.

@@K3mrM Indonesia have so many straits and coke point, just look at the map. Malacca is the most important but Indonesia have a plan to developing other areas. Also not far from Nusantara there are Makassar Port in South Sulawesi and Surabaya port in East Java, the third and second biggest port in Indonesia connecting Australia to Philippines and Pasific to Asia I can say, this is the biggest challenge for Malaka Straits in the future.

They want more clean and hospitable city, so they turn to bandung. Good weather and already has reputation as resort city. So they developing it, but cannot finish the plan cause the japanese incursion.

Kau mau pertahan kan identitas kolonial di Jakarta itu dengan gedung gedung bekas yg sudah ratusan tahun mau kau pertahan kan dan kau banggakan itu? Itu bukan peradaban kita paham kamu ya .. mas bro bilangin sama NETIZEN mu kita bangun ikn itu dituntut alam Nusantara kita untuk membangun peradaban bangsa kita sendiri Nusantara Indonesia. Jadi kalau ada yg menghalangi pembangunan peradaban bangsa Indonesia udah fix mereka penghianat Nusantara. Lihat cina Jepang Taiwan mereka membangun peradaban mereka yg menghabiskan dana hingga ratusan ribu triliun untuk membangun kan peradaban mereka sendiri.kenapa bisa seperti itu ?? Ya agar kita bangga di masa depan kita kalau bangsa Indonesia ini Yg mempunyai beragam suku ,agama ,Ras , etnis, BahasA,budaya dll yg nantinya bisa dilihat anak cucu kita nnti di masa depan dan tentunya akan jadi kebanggaan seluruh diaspora Indonesia yg ada di seluruh dunia jika mereka kembali ke tanah air nya lagi. Dan perlu ingat negara-negara maju seperti Perancis Belanda Jerman Amerika dll mereka juga dulu pindahkan ibukota mereka ke tempat yg strategis dan diperhitungkan untuk masa depan yg akan datang . Contoh saja dlu tahun 1940an gedung pemerintahan dan ibukota Amerika itu bernama Philadelphia (yg sekarang disebut jadi kota zombie) knpa Amerika memindahkan ibukotanya? Ya faktor ekonomi, strategis, keamanan, aksesibilitas dll tidak terbentuk baik di Philadelphia dan akhirnya Amerika serikat memindahkan ibukotanya yg baru atau yg kita kenal selama ini . Jakarta is sinking because ALL (no exceptions) Jakarta leaders never care about water supply for Jakarta's citizens. They never built enough water depots and pipes to provide clean water to ENTIRE city, hence people keep pumping water from the ground, while the rest of the area that has salty ground water don't have other options to buy clean water from delivery trucks. And when they run away from the Jakarta's problem to build "New Capital City", they still repeat this same mistake from the Colonial era. They didn't invite investors to build any big water depot to provide clean water to the New Capital, instead they brought a water pump from China to take water from the dam. 😂 First mistake is understandable, second mistake is shame on you, repeated mistakes over and over again are an absolute fool.
