Fun fact: there's actually 1340 ethnicity in Indonesia, and when you say Muslim spread in Indonesia not because of war, you're not actually wrong but you are not correct, there's alot of Indonesian kingdom weakens because of the rebellion from the Muslims, which cause Indonesia loses in fight to Portuguese and the Dutch. But this rebellion mainly happen in Sumatra and new guinea island rarely in the Java island.
I'm impressed. You even captured the fact that Indonesia was once either a great kingdom of hinduism or buddhism and yet become the most populous majority muslim state now.

One of the reason why Indonesia not well known globally is because not a lot of people emigrate to other country to find better jobs or opportunity. Yes some might work or study abroad, but they will always come back. We just love our country too much and can't live anywhere else but home.

I like that the country got more coverage in the international media from the past few years, still most of the talks are about how the country is not really well known or that it has a great potential in the future...but i'm happy nonetheless Also, i think indonesia as a state has a very inner looking policies, indonesians never really consider outside countries when looking for economic opportunities or that kind of stuff, as you can see the amount of indonesian diasporas are very low in other countries beside malaysia, but i think this is about to change as the country need foreign investments to drive up the economy and right now indonesian government got more and more active in the international stage

Most likely it is due to cultural characteristic. We indonesian is not used to boast to foreigner and most likely unheard of. Nevetheless we do not lacking of diaspora. There is a saying in Indonesia: Our country is united by supernatural power and being. That's explained how our country that stretch thousand's miles from Wes to East and 17000 big and small island's was and still united till this date. I have to say that, something beyond our capable thinking that keep this country united. We are just who we are, who still believe and keep our history and our ancestor's tradition that keep us as an strong nation no matter history test it from time to time. I never worry that there are power from the north and now there is another power from the south. We have proofed it, our ancestors have crushed all occupiers and time will choose another generation to crush another potential enemies who will try to take our lands and values. Because we as a people of Indonesia, we love peace. But our freedom is a clear red line.

fun fact, England & Holland back than fighting each other for one of the island in The Moluccas (the spice isle) named Run island, and finally settled that the Dutch could keep Run island and gave the English their New Amsterdam which renamed to New York later.

thankyou for describing our country so beautifully 🫶
There are anti-mainstream theories and legends that say the Indonesian ancestors came from 20,000 years ago during the ice age. They live on the continent of Sundaland. After the ice age, it was submerged by water and turned into the Indonesian archipelago. Archaeological evidence has been found on Mount Padang, West Java. Some people think Indonesia is Atlantis. But scientists doubt this theory.

Indonesia is absolutely massive. About as wide as Australia, maybe the most diverse place on Earth. I have always been fascinated by the island of Sulawesi. Weird AF shape, I'd love to visit there and try not to die from being eaten or poisoned.
I'll give you 6/10 for every pronouation place, give me chuckle imagining how tourist spelling it But 9/10 for the entire explanation video, it's really cool & pretty Accurate
I ❤ my beautiful country Indonesia
