Blightsteel and darksteel colossus wouldn't actually work with rex as when you discard them to his ability they are placed into a non-public zone and therefore rex cannot check what abilities they had. The same issue would occur with library of leng

add Tortured Existence (works really well with Archfiend of Ifnir). And you need Nesting Grounds (land to move counters around) I added thrumming bird to proliferate counters and move them around.

Hey man I have no idea what your life includes and if you have time for pumping out more videos but I was just wondering if you could do some more five color decks, they are my absolute favorite and I think you're my favorite deck builder on youtube and I'm just really interested to see your takes on commanders that I've already built. If I made a living off of content creation, I would be making a video every weekday with the limitless amount of ideas I have. But, I digress... I'm not successful enough for that.

Gotta say it: This commander is the head of a reanimator deck. If you’re not leveraging the mass amount of fatties you’re putting in the graveyard, you are literally doing it wrong. Hence, get rid of cards like Library of Leng, Reliquary Tower, and Thought Vessel & replace them with Altars, Living Death, and other reanimate spells. You want to discard to hand size people!

Thanks! Glad you liked it! I don't know yet. For now, I'm going to continue with actual Lost Caverns of Ixalan content after this Jurassic Park one. I already have the next video made, so it's coming out next Monday.

When you mentioned Winding Constrictor, Rex would come in with 2 flying, haste, etc. If I discard 3 things with flying, would Rex enter with 3 flying counter because that’s how many things I discarded? Or is it only getting the multiple keyword counters because of the Constrictors effect?

That’s a good question but I’m pretty sure it’s just 1 counter because it doesn’t say “each”. It doesn’t matter how many cards had flying, it only enters with 1 flying counter. Unless anothet effect increases those counters, like Winding Constrictor.

@@TheCommanderTavern So would Doubling Season and Vorinclex Monstrous Raider also work like Winding Constrictor in that sense? Doubling the keyword counters and drawing more cards.
