Wow they are so adorable and goofy lookn. I love the visual affect of their fur, it's super cool!

Serows are bovids that comprise the genus Capricornis, serows are only native to Asia, there are eight extant species under two clades, the eight living serow species are the Bangladeshi Serow (Capricornis bangladeshiensis), the Red Serow (Capricornis rubidus), the Indochinese Serow (Capricornis maritimus), the Sumatran Serow (Capricornis sumatraensis), the Himalayan Serow (Capricornis thar), the Chinese Serow (Capricornis milneedwardsii), the Formosan Serow (Capricornis swinhoei), and the Japanese Serow (Capricornis crispus), the two clades of serows (genus Capricornis) are the Capricornis sumatraensis group known as the southern serows containing the bangladeshi serow, the red serow, the indochinese serow, and the sumatran serow and the Capricornis thar group known as the northern serows containing the himalayan serow, the chinese serow, the formosan serow, and the japanese serow, serows belong to the tribe Naemorhedini within the subfamily Ovibovinae, where the serows (genus Capricornis) are the sister group to the clade that contains the gorals (genus Naemorhedus) and the mountain goat (Oreamnos americanus) to the exclusion of the chamoises (genus Rupicapra).
