thats a fun idea! I dont know much about how engines and stuff works so im just wondering, wouldn't switching back and forth be bad for the engine or transmission? very curious about that

It’s the easy toggle between comfort and individual that makes it so fun! :)

A year ago this seemed like a great thing to do. But now with the price of gas, my “I” mode is all about fuel economy! If I want to go fast, I just go Sport+/Track mode.

It still freaks me out seeing a traffic circle going the wrong way around! Whenever I drive in the UK I never get used to that without “I’m on the wrong side of the road” anxiety!

So interested to see if it's similar to mine😊

Looking forward to this. I picked up my CLA45s just before Christmas - am finding your channel very helpful. Its a year old now with 9,000 miles. Basically, its awesome. I do notice the odd rattle - wondering if that's something you've experienced?

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying yours too and find my vids helpful! Mine has suddenly developed a little noise and It’s booked in next week to be looked at. Il try and cover it all in a video. Hopefully an easy fix. The suspension is so hard in race mode it just takes one thing to come loose to cause vibrations. We’re on the A platform too so there are a few lower ends parts. Mercedes are good under warranty usually with these types of things so I’m hopeful it will be sorted.

3 rattles in mine to date - door cards mainly, but fixing one rattle developed a touch pad issue with a stuck key somewhere, also replaced. Now all quiet

@@nealc9230Mines been all good till recently. Hoping it’s an easy fix from local dealer. A pain but sounds like they have been good at fixing any issues you had with yours.

Merc have said my A45S will be here in March. Can’t wait! Only thing I’d suggest is getting dark tint on the front windows. Have you been pulled over by the cops yet? LOL Cheers mate

That’s great news Ian! I’ve heard production is speeding up now! I did think about some window tints but It’s illegal to go too dark here on the fronts. I am thinking about getting my badges painted black and maybe swapping the interior piano black to carbon fibre this year.

Are you going to tune the CLA45?

Also no rattles at all but when I turn the car off it whistles I looked under the boot covering and it looks like it's full of computers what's that all about is it the 4matic system. So much still to learn about this car

Hey! It’s hard to know without hearing but there’s often a little noise after a spirited drive when your turn the car off (had this will every performance car I’ve owned). Ah yes there’s lots of fuses and electronics in these cars :)

Just discovered you man. Very interested in the facelift 45 S. Quick question: How's the suspension for daily driving? I will go on joy rides but I'll also be daily driving this with my wife and kid. Does it drive comfortably in C-mode? Or is it stiff and angry all the time? Do you think the AMG Ride Suspension Control option is mandatory?

Hey Myrin, welcome! Overall the suspension is pretty good. It's never going to be as comfortable as a non AMG of course but It's not bad even with the performance seats. I've done plenty of long drives with the family. I would say go for the AMG ride suspension since It is noticeably harder in the sport+ setting. Does your squeak when you break? Been trying to troubleshoot. The dealers say it’s fine but that noise when it breaks sometimes is annoying

Ah yep mine has squeaked since the day I picked it up new. It is annoying but I think it’s normal. I never looked into it because the press and demo 45s I drove all squeaked the same.

When you have set your preferred setting in individual does it save your setting automatically?

Yep once it’s setup it should save all the settings forever until you go in and change anything.

Hey does this work with the facelift new MBUX I press the button and nothing happens you have to turn the wheel Please does anyone know if Mercedes have removed this or is my New car faulty

Its quite nice in the c43 to setup a sport+ profile but with the suspension on comfort. Then you get the nice exhaust and throttle response and a softer more daily ride quality.
