Fun Fact he and Sean Connery were roommates before Sean became known as James Bond! His appearance on 1978 Superman was the first time that I knew of him! He is the Ultimate actor to play General Zod! The newer version of Superman in which General Zod appearance is undoubtedly a very close second!

Terrace was great as general Zod in the first 2 Christopher Reeve Superman movies better than what came out recently over the last 5 years

I thought that was a bad career move and look to be honest.
They don't mention it, but I thought he was terrific in Wall Street as Sir Lawrence "Larry" Wildman. On the funny side, in Bowfinger as well, actually! Love this guy
Mr. Stamp has traveled the long road & hung in there.I like him in the limey.
Terrence Stamp also played a great General Beck in Valkyrie.
Terence later returned to comic book realm in the Marvel film Elektra playing Stick-a hero character this time around.
