Porcelain Clash is my favorite, dont get me wrong the others are fire but the energy in porcelain clash blows the others out in my opinion. The Shovel Knight style first part, and the cuphead style second is amazing. And when they merge its glorious

6:04 Absolutely love this bit of Madeline/Badeline's theme here in Bitter Encounter, it even uses a synth that sounds similar to Badeline's theme in Celeste, and it plays when Badeline catches Madeline! Also I'm not sure where it is in the vid but loved the part that sounds like First Steps when Madeline and Badeline are talking.

I like how not just song references, but the sound fonts of each game's music is brought in. Aspects of Bitter Encounter sound like Celeste's music, even if I'm pretty sure the notes aren't something specific. Retreat certainly starts with Cuphead's swing, but then take on a definite Shovel Knight tune after it.

I love how each character has a district musical identity, less of a leitmotif and more of a instrument/musical genre for each charcter. Shovel knight and Madeline with chip tunes, cuphead with a big band, and the knight with a violin.

Man, this soundtrack for episode 1 is really good, I can feel a wave of nostalgia of these indie games and can’t wait for episode 2.

Well that’s gonna be hard considering he’s working on Death Battle and he has another project commissioned on the Blitzo and the Imps from Helluva Boss battling Uzi and her Murder Drones in… Murder Drones. So it’s more of a side thing when doing these two. Also I just wanna see how Blitzo fighting N would go

I love all the nods to each game's own music in this soundtrack! Whether by reusing leitmotiv, musical style or even just the soundfont, it's really neat. I could gush about them for an eternity, but I'll try to keep it short: -Cables of Carnage is great, the 9-bit noises represent Shovel Knight while the electric guitars stand for the red enemies. Both of them disappear in favor of jazz when Cuphead shows up. -Retreat starts with Cuphead's swing rhythm, but the soundfont is not the previous jazzy ensemble. As much as he hates to admit it, Cuphead does not have the upper hand here. Shovel Knight knows it though, and the melody is thrown off when he flees with Cuphead in hand. -Also love how panicked Bitter Encounter sounds, up until the "Resurrections" leitmotif (and Badeline) kick in to "calm" the music down.

holy crap every song here is amazing, everyone did an AMAZING job! my favs are prob cables of carnage and porcelain clash, theyre SO GOOD (and i love the juxtaposition between the chiptune music of shovel knight and the big band feel of cuphead) azuri and dean did such good jobs on those, along with the rest of the composers

Ik that no one will see this but I really love how they take small themes from the games and incorporate them into the songs, like in the 8-bit part of retreat

This soundtrack is literally awesome, they portray every situation so well, like in cables of carnage when shovel knight is struggling cuphead dashes in and starts helping, or the unreal section, where the fate of all indie universes are at stake

My favorite is Retreat cause it gives off the vibe of an actual cartoon chase scene. When I hear the words “We need to bounce” I would automatically think off this. My second is Bitter Encounter cause it almost has the same kinda vibe as Retreat but when I listen to this I think of a video game chase scene.

The original soundtrack is going to be epic to hear 😊

Everybody loves the indie games we all do and we won’t forget a lot for them being nostalgia and plus I love the sound track keep it up

I loved the first episode! my favorite track was definitely 'UNREAL'. I've been a part of the UNDERTALE fandom for a WHILE now and honestly I love the 8-bit style this specific soundtrack has, reminds me of all those megalovania remixes i used to watch back in the day lol. You guys did an amazing job at capturing UNDERTALE's musical style and making something original with it. I loved the fight and the animation. My only complaint is that the song is way too short!

I think they just ripped the art straight from the animation assets, so it’s probably editing the soundtrack video that took some time. Also agreed, Porcelain Clash is an absolute banger in and out of the actual fight scene

I’ll be honest, I think that they waited a bit to help bridge the gap between episodes. Maybe sometime next month we’ll get a behind the scenes thing, and by then we’ll have another episode.

Yeah, in cuphead case it was The Saltbaker's phase 3 theme in Retreat

This OST was absolutely Nuts,Can't wait for the 2nd Episode.

Duuuuuuude All of these music soundtracks just blend in so well together to basically 8-bit being remixed and then being heard clean to what it would sound like without the 8bit sound composed, Then you get other music genres thrown in there and it just mixes to the one genre and then it throws you into the other like it switched and it just makes it flow so well I can tell that this animated series is going to be BLOWN RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER.

I'm so glad you are able to bless my favorite fan project ever with your godly art and animations unlike how the FNF Indie Cross devs acted towards you and thank you to all the AMAZING musicians who worked on these songs
