I think this is honestly my favorite type of video from you: just on the road, finding all sorts of cool, fun, random stuff. So yes, I would LOVE to see you do the National Road!

I agree
It wouldn’t be a Carpetbagger video without an under the radar museum. Great find!
National road museum is peak carpetbagger. Awesome! Definitely do a national road road trip!
Its exactly these kinds of amazing roadside attractions that make your channel just so wonderful only In America can you come across so many wonderful crazy random things to see do. !! It really amazes me.... You will never ever be able to run out of great content to film.. I hope you are well. Marie XXXX
YES! Let’s take a tour of Historic National Road from IL to MD! That’d be great! 👍 GREAT WORK, TCB.

Now all we have to do is help get Jacob the Weiner mobile sponsor and we have an Epic road trip in the making 👍
Wow, what great finds! Thanks for sharing these little Americana gems across the country, so fun.
A video like this is truly the foundation of your channel. This is the stuff that we just don't see, let alone know about. Amusement parks and haunts seem a lot alike, but it's vids like this that keep me coming back for more. If this is ANY indication of what the National Road has to offer, THEN I AM ALL IN! I'll bet there would be lots of fun experiences on this road. I sure would love to see more. 😃 Thanks Jacob.

Yeah, Carpetbagger can be a daily hard-to-break habit. Unlike his repeats and haunt videos, today I spent the whole 40 minutes with him on his serendipitous finds and new discoveries trip. Sometimes I wish that I didn't like him so much, but he manages to make the ordinary seem compelling.

@@stifledvoice Well said. Even as a 59 year old, he is that very daily addiction for me. Would love to say hello and shake his hand one day. 😃
I'd love to know more about the National Road. Great idea!
LOL How does Jacob relax? By hanging out and watching interstate traffic, of course.
It wouldn't be a Carpetbagger video without an underrated museum. Great find Jacob!
We absolutely need more Idle spots. Watching traffic is very relaxing and sounds calming at night. ❤ The tire horse was really cool. My mom and her family are from Indianapolis. 😊
Hi Jacob 👋 you find such interesting things along your journey 😊 thank you for taking us along 😊 see you in your next video 📹
I had silence at my dad's house but when I stayed at my aunts, the traffic lulled me to sleep. I loved it.
It's amazing how much fun you find even on being on the lonesome highway so much. Your videos are my favorite fun and happiest to watch . Thanks again Jacob . Another good job
This just unlocked a memory of touring an Irish ship called the Jeanie Johnston. It did a tour in the US before going back to Ireland. It was a floating wax museum about the Irish famine I think. My mom took us when we were kids in Bristol, PA.
Days like that are my favorite. Nothing like breaking up a drive looking at cool things. I think the mystery brown liquid was maple syrup. Plus that giant gavel was made by the sane guy (company) who makes the stuff in Casey. We love the National Road, we have been trying to document the Madonna of the Trail monuments. They are a state of a pioneer woman, each state on the national road has one. Plus it is always great to see that dragon. When we were there filming it we never went into the liquor store, some nice guy working on it gave us some tokens.
Welcome to Indy, Jake.
Yes, I’d like to see you travel on the national historic road , as you are really good at explaining historical things. I don’t think anyone else has done that yet.
The National Road is an amazing ride! You would definitely find many interesting things along the way.
Morning Jacob 😊🌞 good to see this beautiful 🗽 in Indiana. Thanks for sharing everything else as you travel. 📸🤓👍
I love that you made it to my hometown and found an obscure museum that I had never knew existed. I actully had driven by that place many times and had driven around some of those neighborhoods this weekend. I had heard of idle park, but I did not know where it was. My late father loved watching traffic too. He would have loved that park. I graduated from Indiana State in Terre Haute so I travel Highway 40 often and some day would love to take it all the way to St. Louis. I love going to obscure places and seeing obscure things. You have actually given me lots of ideas of places. I went to the Marry Go Round museum this past summer and the museum in Dayton. Thanks!
It’s interesting and incredible how the Statue of Liberty 🗽 was used in every way and things possible 😊
We would love a National Road series. Also a redo of Lincoln Highway when you are under a deadline to be somewhere.
I enjoy listening to the traffic sounds as well, I like to imagine each one is a futuristic spaceship or pod racer, every once in awhile there will be a vehicle that sounds like a tie fighter. Very relaxing.
Jacob come to Seymour Indiana The Reno Brothers are Buried here at the Cemetary next to Riverview Cemetary and Visit The Art Gallery John Mellencamps Mother and His paintings are there and the Depot also has his Memrobillia and A Display on the Movie He Directed and Acted in Falling from Grace. And go to Corydon Indiana where James Best is Buried and Erin Moran died at in New Salisbury Indiana.
The cats as Kiss was awesome
One could say thats a "tried" Horse
Road trip, road trip, road trip on the Historical National Road!! 🎊 🎉
Thanks for the video Jacob. I loved the KISS kittens too❤
Living in western New York, where Jenny Penny used to live I’m in aww at that statue of liberty Museum, and Indianapolis. I think that’s really cool that another state like shows her off that’s brilliant.❤❤❤
Yes! A National Road trip, find the interesting places, you have a knack for hunting down and running across these places for sure. The tiny Statue of Liberty was fun, the National Road museum was great, but the fire-breathing dragon was awesome!!
Carpetbagger's ASMR is the soothing sound of Traffic.
Yes! The National Road would be so fun!!
Great video love the fire-breathing Dragon. safe travels my friend take care.
Oh my goodness Hacob you showed us so much fun stuff today Thankyou so much for the tour made my day ❤❤❤❤❤
I had to pause the video and finish crying after the raccoon coming out of his groin statement, lol. Once again, you made my day!
I think the sound of the traffic would be a nice white noise like sound to fall asleep to. ❤❤❤
It was cool seeing you walk back from the cross, looks like your slowly growing, and growing... until you became a giant :)
Jacob little run always make my day 😂
Love these museums. So cool! This was a fun video! Thank you!
So cool today had a great day with you 😊❤️🙏😊
Absolutely will enjoy the historic road ❤
You find really interesting roadside attractions. Yes, I would like to see you travel on the National Road and film a series of videos.
I enjoyed watching traffic with you!
Shame to see the Idle park all covered in graffiti like that.
Love, listening to traffic it is very calming when it’s a continual traffic noise
That's one tired horse.
Great job, Jacob. I like your museum videos . ❤
Nice little museum. ❤. I’d pay an entrance fee to see that.
Hi Jacob 😊 wow!! I feel the same way ironically as you do about traffic noise😮. When my windows are open. I sit in my living room and I love to hear the sounds of the trucks and traffic from a highway near my home😊!!!! I've been appreciating that lately!!! So when you said that. I thought omg! I have to tell Jacob. I get it❤
My wife and I visited the dragon a couple of years ago. Did a video with it and some other cool things.
Heck yeah!!! I’ve been hoping you would see the dragon :) We always stop whenever we pass through. Just made my day 🙌🏻 Thanks Jacob
Jacob, I've been watching your channel for 4 years now and at 9am every morning I tune in, thanks for sharing. I would love to see you do the national highway, I lived in Marshall my Dad and family are buried there.

How many pairs of Crocs do you have,?
Love seeing the KISS cats!!!!
Wow that Statue of Liberty museum is a treasure in a place I would not think it would be, you always find the most interesting places to explore. I would probably sit and watch the traffic for a few mins , looks like a cool spot to walk to.
Good Morning " TA ALL " Jacob..!!
I like your low key, approach , your easy to listen to, thank you, also your informative and educational
Love the colorful skyline on the fence at Lone Henge. The KISS Kitties were cute and the fire breathing dragon 🐉 was awesome 😱 The Idle was cool for the road noise that acts like white noise. Cool finds today 😸💖💖💖
Such awesome history love you for showing us ❤
What a fascinating museum. Yes, I would really enjoy a trip down the National Road, which I never heard of before even though I live in Illinois. Thanks.
Thank You for doing Cardio for me. From running to the cross and from the cross.
I always forget about the dragon in Vandalia! Used to drive by that thing almost every week.
When you know it is going to be a great day of adventuring😊
Cool stuff today Jacob !!!! The fire breathing 🔥 dragon was the bomb 💣 safe travels my friend ✌️❤️🙂
That was cool I like the diffent styles of the Statue of Liberty
What a fun ride this was. Definitely take us down the old National Historic Road!
The front row of seats at idle is bowling seats. The other 2 rows I believe were from the old bush stadium on 16th street.
A trip down the historic national road would be great...Good stuff...Thanks for sharing!!!!
I enjoy watching traffic too. That was pretty cool.
When you were in Indianapolis, I was reminded of the time we visited my cousins in Kokomo. They took me to see "The Stump and the Steer"- largest steer (don't remember what the "stump" was). If you are in that area again, please visit! I haven't been in about 10 years. 🙂
I go to the idle park and sit for hours during the weekend of the hot rod nationals and watch the old cars heading to Louisville, it's awesome
Amazing finds!
These are my favorite videos of yours. Traveling the country & finding off the road adventures. Definitly do a National Road Trip. I live close to Vandalia, Ohio. National Road runs through it to Springfield, Ohio to Columbus.
You have to love the Dragon!! Would love to see You drive the NATIONAL Hwy. and all the sights.
As a resident of Fountain Square in Indy, i welcome you. It's wild finally seeing you driving on streets. I've regularly driven on.
I think you would have been a fantastic History teacher,Jacob
I so enjoy your channel Jacob it's never a dull moment Keep up the great work and Thank you! Hello Jenn!
Indy my hometown; where the people go watch traffic because watching corn grow gets boring. 😂
Gosh you were barely visible showing us how large that CROSS is ..WOW have never seen any of the ones you mentioned
Chattanooga has a Giant Cross, it has warning lights on top because it’s near the Chattanooga Airport. Rumor has it that it’s 110 feet tall. It’s worth a visit, check out the Chattanooga Aquarium, Incline Railway and The One and Only Rock City while you’re here.
Yes the national historical road series would be very interesting I'd watch it 😊
So many cool places. Awesome dragon.
Yes it's an awesome idea to do the national road road trip 😀
Love that tire horse I’ve seen one before but I can’t remember where but yeah that’s very cool amazing
Very cool video Jacob. I live 35 min from Indy and had no idea that the Statue of Liberty museum even exists nor the Idle along the Interstate. Very interesting info. I definitely would sit at the Idle and watch traffic, thats pretty cool. Also love the dragon. ❤️
I used to hear traffic staying at my Nans. The headlights would shoot round the ceiling as they passed and I'd fall asleep watching the lights! I must be weird too 😂
Wow, you looked like a tiny ant beside that cross! The fire breathing dragon is awesome! You find the best places, you should write a book! Can’t wait to see the Haunt Convention!
Traveling in the west - roadside attractions. That would be awesome!
Cool museum! So many cool places on the National Road, I was on it in Vegas! I will be watching for you new videos!
Enjoying your travels. I’d love to see the National Road and other historic places. Also enjoyed the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday. Happy travels and stay safe.
That was a cute Statue of Liberty Museum. Loved the KISS cats and Horse . Not big on traffic but to each his own. That car was a great idea with the movies .I really don't know how you find all these attractions like the gavel. That was an interesting travel center . Those large crosses always amaze me . This one seems especially nicely arranged . Great video . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
National Road trip would be pretty cool. I’ve mentioned it before a few times on your livestreams in the past. It was the first National Highway. The original section ended in Vandalia because they ran out of money. Years later the road was extended and the western section (starting in St. Louis) would become known as the National Historic Trail and eventually Route 66.
Way cool dragon ❤❤❤
YAY I WOULD TO SEE YOU EXPLORE THE NATIONAL ROAD
The Historic National Road would be sweeeeet, but only if I was traveling with you, sir. TY.
I was thinking as I was watching, he needs to keep one of those cool looking coins. Keep it as a good luck piece. Would love to see you do 40 from D.C. to California. Should be some great road side find there.
Wow that was a fun episode you made my day, thank you Carpetbagger!
Yes Jacob, please do more of your Videos of the highway road trip, you should check out Pacific Coast Highway 1, it's a once in a lifetime drive
