Hey! I’m in college right now and after I graduate I think it’d be fun to race prototypes, what should I know or what do you wish you knew when you started?

learn the basics in a good TAG Kart (Tony Kart?), hell you can rent one. A fraction of the cost!! As you develop speed you invariably make mistakes and go off track and unfortunately hit "things". The Kart will take a beating and is a good learning tool, it will be very expensive to learn those lesson in a fragile P1/P2 car.
Are P1/2 cars allowed to have paddle shifters?
