Tom Allen was a good defensive minded coach, but he openly said he needed help with the offense. He only got that help 1 year, and after that, it was right back to the basement

It will be interesting to see if Allen can improve the Penn State D this season. Indiana always gave Ohio State trouble on O with their Defensive play calling with lessor talent. Thanks for watching.

Offense will be a strength. There’s about four 1000 yard receievers on the roster and 3 more that have shown flashes in the past. Rourke was considered a 4 star qb in the portal and was mac offensive player of the year 2 years ago. Lots of proven depth at running back. Offense will not be the problem. Defense is worrisome.

@@theohiopodcast 7-5. 3-0 non con. Wins vs Purdue, Maryland, northwestern, Michigan state. As bad as IU was last year they were still in about 4 games where they had a chance to win in the final minute. Cignetti took production in the portal over potential. This team has a lot of snaps to their resume. Also one of the easiest P4 schedules. Thank you for doing this video.

@@theohiopodcast as an iu fan agree 100% offense should not be the problem d line depth biggest worry anything less than 6 wins major disappointment...aside from ohio st and possibly michigan every big 10 game is theoretically winnable very real chance to win 8+ much improved roster and coaching staff...elite qb play will be the key to 8+ imo

Program changed for Indiana when they lost Kaleb Deboer and a Kane Womack. If both would have stayed one more year, Indiana would have been a top 4 big ten team.
