Those two vegetables you picked up were bottlegourd, those two are just a deffrent varieties of same vegetable. Ancient indians used it as a bottle with dried bottlegourds which were too strong too..that's why the bottle in the name of this vegetable. And also this is avalable exactly in the shape of bottle. There are many varieties in this vegetable and very healthy one too. Good food for somany deceases. Add some good amount of masala and make curry ,have it with indian rice.

Please try this zero difficulty dish, no cooking required... your kid gonna love it... Take one of that Rangoli Ladoo or Simply Yellow Ladoo, and take Bikaji Bhujia... Gently crush the Ladoo with your fingers to disintegrate it into smaller pieces, pour a palmful of Bhujia and mix both. And have it with hot chai. Your whole family will enjoy it... Best simplistic Indian evening light snack. Goes best on rainy days and lazy winter days.
