These bikes are so beautiful, I saw one in the dealership a few days ago, and that particular one had a detachable windshield.

They really do have good lines to the styling.
Do it. Do it. Do it. I traded in my 22 Chief Darkhorse for a 23 Springfield Darkhorse and have no regrets. The bike is fine without a windshield, but it’s even more amazing with one. Very versatile bike that’ll fit whatever role you want it to 👍🏻

I was impressed with this one. Going back over my past Indian review videos I can hear the others have a valve train tick but this one sounded buttery smooth.

I am glad this helped. I will say that some of the PowerPlus engines have a tick that sounds like a valve tappet. Loud too. Yet a few engines are quiet. So be sure to ride before you buy.
Seems like a nice bike - was wondering what you thought about the no windshield and as you say - you’ll most likely get used to it - thanks for the awesome vid 😊

I have ridden other bikes with no windscreens and not had to hold myself forward like I did on this bike. Some bikes just are better at deflecting wind like the MT-10 from Yamaha or having 6" dog bone risers with a drag bar or even a chopper with the tank up a bit. I bet those two screws on the nacelle could be a mount point for a small wind deflector.

The MT10’s seating position is slightly leaned forward so you’re already in a position where your body is more aerodynamic as compared to this bike where you’re sitting pretty much straight up.

@@myronmosley2167I have ridden other bikes with a similar seating position as the MT-10 but they did not have that little cowling. Those other bikes were not as comfortable. The point is a little cowling on this Indian would like make the bike more comfortable.
