Paradise birds are popular among birders. I bet every birder has seen at least one documentary about paradise birds and their unique courtship behaviour. Here, I’d like to share the extremely cute courtship behaviour of the rufous morph Indian paradise flycatcher. Although this video may have its technical limitations, their behavior is quite exceptional.
The male Indian Paradise Flycatcher shows off its long, rufous tail feathers, fluttering them like delicate fans. He chirps sweet melodies while darting through the trees, trying to catch the eye of a female. If she likes what she sees and hears, they'll start hanging out together, grooming each other, and sharing food. Eventually, they'll find a cozy spot to build a nest and start a family. It's like a beautiful dance of love! 💕
