Indian Para Commando Training | Paratroopers 100 km Run | Veer by Discovery
During Para Commando training the last hurdle for probie paratroopers is the toughest one: 100 km Run. Veer by Discovery presents a documentary on making of a commando in Indian Para Special Forces.
पैराट्रूपर्स के लिए ट्रैनिंग के दौरान सबसे आखिरी बाधा ही सबसे कठिन होती है जिसमें पैरा कमांडो ट्रेनी को 100 किलो मीटर की दौड़ में भाग लेना होता है। वीर बाइ डिस्कवरी भारतीय पैरा स्पेशल फोर्स में कमांडो प्रशिक्षण के उपर एक डॉक्युमेंटरी प्रस्तुत करता है।
In the 100 km run, probie commandos have to run with 10 kg of the battle load along with their personal weapons. A full marathon is of 42.195 km but for trainee paratroopers, it is more than double in their final hurdle. This is one of the toughest tests to check endurance and stamina of commandos.

I never ran more than 10 kms in a single stretch. Hats off to our paracammandos. Jai hind

100km in 15 hour 54 mins. With 17Kg battle Load in combat boots on hard road. Average civilian runner takes 16-18 hours for 100Km with no load except some water and food. That’s how hyper fit these Para commando trainees are. Amazing.

18 hour for 100km😄😄 that's walking not running, slowest running pace is 7kmph and 18×7= 126 that is more than 100km so you are slower than 7kmph Or you are walking.

It's all about mindset. At first I thought I cannot walk even 1 KM. Then, I started walking to office which was 2 KM away. In the weekend, I walked to a nearby place which was 7 KM away. Now, I'm confident that I can walk 10 KM. As they say, Special Forces is a mindset 🔥👏🏻

Same with me but in my case it was running from 500 meter now I run 10km in 1hour 10minutes and preparing for half marathon.

for those who think its tough just understand that to join the para regiment you have to be very fit and they test you as well.Check about a normal paratrooper selection process 60km run is one of a few requirements.Marcos run 120 km and ghatak commandos run 20 and 40 km endurance runs. Armed forces will make any person strong enough if we are willing to work that hard.

In NDA in camp rovers and torna difficulty is same with even much faster speed but that's 65-70 km for 19 yrs old .I mean to say it's not that difficult if it's non-graded and if 30 kms are added to it I don't think cadets wouldn't complete it especially when they are in a grp

@@Ishan15g First 2-3km will be hardest as you will know about mistake in your running form. Afterward you can gradually increase the distance by 1 km every month. In beginning don't push your self too hard. Never run more than what your body can endure. If you follow this rule you will never have running injury.
