Niranjan was my shcool friend and he always dreamed of joining the armed forces (NSG in specific). He used to tell me that all of you want to work in IT or other jobs for money while his heart was set only at serving our country. He was called a Ninja and lived true to his name and ethos. I vaguely remember similar reported in news back in those days about how terrorists infiltrated in the airbase I think there was a mention about some un named officers or guards involved in helping terrorists

⁠​⁠​⁠@@dhruva1221 As far as i remember he was a dysp of j&k police who was actively involved in anti-terror operations,it was he who helped them get near the base and later said that his car got hijacked. After the inquiry he was stripped of his gallantry medal first and then removed from service.
