NO MY FRIEND I M REALLY SORRY N VERY KINDLY, FRIENDLY, HUMBLY N POLITELY I M SAYING THAT UR WHOLE RESEARCH IS COMPLETELY WRONG !!!!! It was the Nizam of Hyderabad King Osman Ali Khan, personally i am not a fan of him neither do i like him and not just him but anyone rich and powerful so as their only life purpose was to live a luxurious life and create n stimulate a line between the rich and the poor though they may have not done it personally but it has stimulated very badly in the human society but a few have done it too, anyways by searching on google u can see that he was one of the richest man and king of all times and probably the richest of that time. He used a rs 50 crores (Jacob) Diamond just as a paper mate, he had the largest car collection ever in history and assets n properties not just in Hyderabad he owned it but especially in UK, etc ! He was that rich ! He is or was the only person or king ever lived in India who had the most luxurious life ever maybe along side a few but he is the most known also he has build many structures even the Osmania University in Hyderabad which is one of the biggest n largest University in India, its land was donated and the whole structure was funded by him infact he used to donate charity to Saudi Arabia today maybe its one the richest country n economy in the world but at that time people in Saudi Arabia were so poor they din even had proper food to eat so there was massive n hugh amount of funds donations which were made and shared with saudi arabia n lots massive n hugh amount of charity used to go to saudi arabia by the nizam of hyderabad ! in short there was no other king or man ever lived such an expensive and highly luxurious life like him ever maybe except a few but he is the only one known happened to ever be so ! And those cars as a fact are still in Hyderabad as his momento, all his assets like chiran palace, falakhnuma palace where salman kahan's sister got married, the nizam's jewellery etc is all worth billions and is still in the museum as a momento which as a matter of fact u can see and read the other comments too !

Its a true story. The car in question that Maharajah JaiSingh looked at was a Rolls-Royce Phantom II Tourer. I think it was in the year 1929 because that was the year they'd started making this model. Here's the complete story: The Maharaja of Alwar walked into a Mayfair car showroom in the 1920s and pointed to a Rolls-Royce Phantom II Tourer. He looked nondescript, almost shabby. The young salesman snubbed him, convinced the man was wasting his time. The maharaja asked for the manager. "I will have every one of these," he said, pointing to seven cars. "But there is one condition - this young man escorts them to India." The young man did so, much to the envy of his mates. On the appointed day, the cars were arrayed in front of the maharaja's palace, paintwork gleaming and engines purring as the proud salesman stood by. Finally, the man himself appeared on the steps, gave a perfunctory nod in the direction of the cars and told his assistant to use them for collecting municipal rubbish. Source: The Telegraph PS: The car in the video is not the car in question. The picture in the video is obviously a Ford. Now stop fighting you dumdums. You can check one of the said cars standing in vintage car museum of Udaipur. Also James May mentioned about this one in Top Gears' Christmas Special Episode back in 2012.

I am Indian too and I do not usually stop to comment but couldn't really ignore these comments and go away. It is VERY SAD that we Indians didn't see the fact that it's an INDIAN king who did it but immediately became busy in arguing and fighting my king your king! Shame guys! Come on this is the very same habit the Brits exploited and now politicians continue to exploit. Have some positivity and embrace the goodness as a country together and stop finding more reasons to divide each other. Let us all work together for a better india not further divide. Embrace the great history, culture and legacy we have and for once be united as ONE NATION and discourage anyone who talks divided. Please!

Immature and insecure people usually glorify their own community and insult others who did more. No one even disrespected jats in the comments and here you are lol, whatever history jats had their current predicament they are classed as a backward caste in many states in India don't even compare yourself to Rajputs. Without people like Prithviraj chauhan and so many others you wouldn't even have a country.

Car being used to collect garbage just because your ego is hurt, is hardly an awe inspiring story. Making bad decision just because of your conceit doesn't make worthwhile revenge, may be that's because these pansy sultans and maharajahs would have tail tucked in while saluting the crown, lets be frank all these people were slaves and he at best was a head slave. He was treated at the showroom, the way a head slave should be treated. Worthwhile revenge would have been......lets see....this Rolls Royce company is loosing its connection with its customer, let me build a car company and out sell the Rolls Royce in sales and customer service. But I guess the dim witted maharajah did not see beyond his nose and big ass. Today Rolls Royce still makes high end cars, who remembers the maharajah. In the long term, Rolls Royce did what was expedient for them, maharajah just rolled over and made peace with what he got, just like his ancestors did with the East India company.

The concept of slavery hasn't gone yet judging by your post taking your mindset into the account. That experience was supposed to be illuminating which is don't treat everyone as sub-human and exercise elite mentality standard. The king was right to teach them in the manner they understood, and immediately apologized with complimentary gifts. I am guessing after that experience, the dealerships of not only that but also others, in the light of the events, adopted modesty and manner which we now call 'customer service' and 'customers are always right'.

Harban mital Mital well this shows your frustration, when you talk like that, you are actually showing how your parents brought you up and the legitimacy of your birth in doubt about your father. well understand the history of India first before speaking your sanghi mind ( gobar).. I myself as a captain in India airforce would defend my country better than you do. I know people like you have made a trend in this country that , anything which is not a Hindu is pakistani.. grow up idiots...try to accept the difference of opinion. If you really want to fight come to border.. don't try to threaten innocent helpless people with the shit you have in your mind. I'm Indian by birth and by choice.... you are only Indian by birth.. I'm more Indian than you are.. grow up, think before you write.. and think also that whom you interacting with might be able to own you quite nicely and if you don't change your attitude, we will send you to Nepal. India is for all.. Jai Hind.
