Indian idol platform should not have been used for putting the contestants in an embarrassing situations like the one by bringing his culprit father in front of the world. You never know whether her father would have come forward like this, if she has not come to limelight like this as an excellent Indian Idol singer

What a marvellous performance by Ananya! This was a very difficult song yet she did a brilliant job in this wonderful composition. She is the most consistent performer of this season and fully deserves to be the winner of this competition. ❤🎉🎉

She will be in top 5. But doesn't deserve trophy. Of course she improved a lot. First 2 to 3 episodes she was doing mistakes in taking notes N in total singing Confidence was very less. For Indian idol trophy all the qualities like confidence, clarity of voice N words, presentation, expression energy everything required. In last season once Rishi Singh was also in bottom 3. He rarely got the hit performance motivation. Really oeople see many things for voting. Sympathy is different.

Look dont bring contestants personal issues before the stage, they have self dignity too. Wtf u show maker want to exploit the emotions of masses n make business with it. Don't do such type of stuff in singing realities show. Although she is very fine singer, after menuka she is the one who will run this season.

Indian Idol was totally INSENSITIVE in calling Ananya’s father and giving her a “surprise”! They don’t have proper relationship at all! She is not even on talking terms with him. Why create such obnoxious dramabaazi using the personal animosity between 2 people? I don’t think Ananya was impressed with this disgusting “surprise”, going by her reaction. More than Indian Idol I want to blame her Father for agreeing to this “surprise”! We don’t need such “insensitive dramabaazi” at all!

Absolutely, family "sentimental drama" should not be allowed in a competition, she is definitely getting "sympathy votes" because of that drama which is very unfair to other contestants😢😢😢
