Indian Hair Growth Secrets: Daily Massage

SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE! Lots of hair content in the works :)
Sharing my top tips to prevent hair loss and make your hair GROW!! I lost about half my hair at the beginning of 2019 and made it my mission to grow it back and figure out what works! (I literally felt like I was balding 🥺) Hopefully it helps anyone else struggling with hair loss ❤️
1. Massage your scalp with oil before washing (as shown in video), and massage your scalp with just your fingers or hair brush every night before bed. Scalp stimulation is key to bringing hair follicles back to life! I got this oil from Sephora (bought it myself) and I’m currently loving it cause it has all the good active ingredients and a really amazing floral scent that makes me want to use it!
2. Make sure you’re eating enough protein
(including 2 eggs a day)! I try to aim for 40g of protein per day. Also, healthy fats like avocados and almond butter are amazing for hair and skin!
3. I think supplements played a big part in my hair growing back! I take iron, biotin, ashwaganda, amla, and bhringraj! Iron deficiency could be a reason that your hair is falling, so get your blood checked! Biotin is amazing for your hair, skin, AND nails. And the remaining 3 are Ayurvedic pills that have MANY benefits including stopping hair loss!
4. I’m also convinced my hair fall was related to moving into a new apartment and the level of toxins in the shower water. I would buy a water filter off Amazon-be sure to protect your hair and skin by showering with the purest water possible!
5. Be super gentle with your hair and NEVER brush it while wet! (Your hair is much weaker when wet) Also, don’t over-wash your hair! If you can, only wash your hair once a week.
Ask away in the comments I’m here to help! 🥰👇🏾

If you're losing hair suddenly, I recommend going to the doctor to have your blood levels checked. Iron/zinc/vitamin d deficiency can cause hair loss. And at that point it may mean critical organs in the body are barely getting nutrients so your body is taking it from your nutrients that would be left over for your scalp and follicles. Edit, other tests: - Serum Ferritin (iron stores) - Serum b12 - Serum Folate - Thyroid Hormones - Biotin Deficiency * Note biotin supplements can result in the wrong reading for certain tests for thyroid, testosterone etc. So stop taking approx three days to your test. Edit 2: I've been replying to your comments but KZread seems to be blocking them? So I just want to say good luck on your recovery journeys! I'm trying to fix my anemia as well. We can do it!

Actually I in my older years, couldn't figure out why my hair was getting so thin, and starting to fall out. More over dealing with dandruff. Came to realize I needed to start putting coconut oil on my scalp and letting it absorb for an hour, while massaging into scalp. Then I started her massaging techniques, as well as washing my hair in very cold water. Don't brush your hair while it's wet! Put your hair in braids while you're sleeping. End result in the year 2021; my hair is almost down past the middle of my back. I still have some thinning but my hair has never been this long...EVER! I am now 47. I started doing these things about 3 years ago. Thank you for the massaging tips!

This is actually true! Massaging/rubbing the scalp will stimulate the growth of hair and cause it to grow faster. For example, when someone takes their cast off, there is usually longer hair growing on their arm/leg ect. This is caused by the constant friction from the cast rubbing or essentially "massaging" the skin.

It's the opposite reason from what you said. After a cast is removed, hair is longer because it has been protected, not rubbed against. It isn't exposed to the elements or movement, so the normal wear and tear on the tips of the hair doesn't occur.

I've lost over 80% of my hair since COVID ! I had COVID in July and started losing my hair horribly in the first of November. My hair was down past the middle of my back and naturally curly. Now my curl is virtually gone. My hair had become so stringy and thin it had to be cut to my shoulders. It has continued to thin so badly that it looks like I'm going to have to get a pixie cut !! It's awful. I hate it. I don't have the face for that kind of cut and it's gutted me. Cancer left me paralyzed and my hair was the only thing I had left I liked about myself. :( Now it's gone and it's not stopping.

@@allieh4779 I’m so sorry Alicia, I had a ton of hair loss from Covid also. Mine started in Nov too, and I lost about 50% of it. Mine was almost to my waist and was really thick, but not anymore. I’ve been a hairstylist for 22 years now, and after doing lots of research, here’s what I found to help me. Take a good women’s multi vitamin and a daily supplement for hair, skin and nails. Also, I started using Nioxin shampoo and conditioner for thinning hair. Last, and most important; try not to dwell on the hair loss, and don’t stress about it too much bc all that fear and anxiety will only make it worse. Give yourself some grace, you absolutely deserve it, and trust and believe that God will restore to you every hair that you lost in His perfect timing.

For a few weeks, I even stopped washing my hair because that’s when I lost sooo much hair. My hair is getting better now, but the hardest place to grow my hair back is still the back of my hair, from the ears down. Getting there though. Collagen peptides and MSM powder helps too!

Lemme give u natural recipe, which used to help many people, dunno about long run help but it may help according to testimonies. Ingredients: 15 tablespoons of finely chopped nettle leaves 5 tablespoons of chamomile flowers 300 ml of wine vinegar ( 6% acidity) Steps: 1. In 1.2 liters of boiling water, add nettle (I used nettle tea). 2. Leave it covered for 2 hours off the stove. 3. After 2 hours, heat the water and nettle again, but do not let it boil. 4. Remove the pot from the stove, add chamomile (I used dried flowers), immediately cover it, and leave it for 2 hours. 5. Then strain the mixture and add wine vinegar. Mix well. 6. Apply the lotion to your hair every other evening and gently massage it in. It is also recommended to clean a clove of garlic, cut it in half, and rub it onto the scalp, just before lotion application. Lotion should stay for a while on your scalp, for example during night, and then you can wash your hair in the morning. This is for hair loss stop and can also promote hair growth. Use glass bottle, it would be good to keep it refrigerated in my opinion. Second recipe is for promotion of hair growth: Clean and peel 41 cloves of garlic and put them in 2 dl of rakija (vodka can probably be used as a substitute for rakija). Close it tightly (preferably in a small jar) and let it sit for 21 days (but it can be used after 15 days). Before washing your hair, thoroughly wet your scalp and leave it on (for an hour, two, three, or however long you have at that moment), then rinse your hair well. This mixture has a strong unpleasant smell, but the results are great. You can use a cotton pad or a cotton cloth to apply the lotions, even use one after another at the same time, so they can act synergistically. Apply a small amount of lotion to the pad and gently massage it into your hair and scalp. Play a little bit, find what is best for you.

I'm not sure about the points she mentioned. But one time I decided to do scalp massages everyday just because I kept hearing about them on natural hair videos. I never had an issue with hair growth/loss so I wasn't paying attention or obsessing over whether I noticed growth or not. But at one point i noticed my hair being way longer than usual at a shorter time frame. It was a wild moment. I'm not saying this method is pure facts, but it doesn't hurt to try. Also make sure you pay attention to what you do for your body like diet and exercise, as that impacts your hair as well.

A hack to get one cheap is to go to a beauty school & have a student give you one. They go thru by half inch sections massage it with a special brush, put tea tree on each section, after they do your entire head in the sections with the brush they massage your head it’s amazing. Plus your hair gets a wash & style after the scalp treatment is done. Your welcome. ❤
