once you make this oil, pour the entire contents in a glass jar and leave it for atleast 3-4 weeks for its full potency. In India we cook the ingredients in coconut oil and leave it in the heat of the sun for another 3-4 weeks. then we strain the oil and use it. also dont discard the herbs. squeeze all the oil out and then grind these herbs to a fine paste and refrigerate. you can add it to hair masks.

@@wykeyamiles2 yes of course. we leave the oil in for a few hrs or overnite and then wash it off. let me share a good hair wash recipe. you can make a batch of this to last for a month. 1 cup of chick pea flour, one cup of mung bean flour and 1 cup of Shikakai powder. or half cup of shikakai and half cup of Reetha (soapnut) powder. Shikakai is soapbean easily found in Indian stores. mix these powders well and store in an airtight container. for harwash depending on how long your hair is take about a tablespoon of this mix add some tepid water to this to make a slurry. use this as shampoo to wash your hair. this works as a mild shampoo. it cleans but does not strip your scalp of its natural oils. over a few months of using this you will see a good improvement in your hair growth.

@@sheliaford6275 Super moisturizing, I used some powders because I couldn't find fresh leaf so a little pasty but it always makes my hair feel amazing. I use it before shampooing sometimes leave in for a day sometimes 15 mins. Leaves hair soft and I don't use it continuously but my hair has grown almost a whole foot since I started using this. This is the only growth recipe I have in my hair regimen since length isn't my biggest priority but my hair was at my shoulders and is now mid-back. Could be the genes, could be the time, but I think it's this recipe plus that!

I use half avacado oil and half coconut oil. I live it over night or for a couple days and I strain on a cheese cloth. I use it for my hair and my granddaughter and my daughter is amazed how Nessy hair is growing so thick. Your tips have given me alot,

I love this oil!!! Because I didn’t see any measurements for these specific ingredients I just “ eye- balled” it. I may have over did it w/ the curry leaves lol. Real talk- it came out ok but it makes me hungry. I just decided to add some peppermint oil to the mixture to quiet down the original scent. That worked out fine. I’m definitely going to make more this week - when I told my friends a couple asked if I could make a bottle for them ( I have so much herbs left over) Question: what are the correct increments for the spices & what can I use to blend out the scent a little better? I know my sisters on KZread will help me get it all the way straight so let me know guys. Thanks In advance. 😃
