One suggestion for AIFF Now a days football grounds are being occupied and commercialized in all metro cities , small towns or even villages. Kids are not getting ground adjacent to their house or locality. So natural free sports and football are being hampered because of this. Students and teens are loosing opportunity of sports and football. If govt dont have any ground in any area they will buy / rent property and ensure green ground for each citizen. Ensuring sports opportunity to each citizen of India,

When football is popularised amongst the schools students in India football fans will increase. When football fans increase football players salary will increase. When football players salary increase more people will come to play football. When more people come to play football then football will be the No.1 sport in India.

To improve the standard of football you need kids to start at a young age.. That's what's happening in cricket, badminton, hockey, kabbadi etc.. Now started in TT.. So for that you need to invest in youth & kids under age leagues.. Indian football team doesn't even have under 15 team now 😂😂

This is what we want from a President. Come out to the public, share whatever that is happening in the sport. This is a great initiative by Kalyan sir by interacting with the media and the fans which eventually creates a healthy football ecosystem.

we must appoint long term coaches for under 17 and under 20 teams, we cannot wait till AIFF/FIFA produce players from their academies, hope Mr Kalyan is not planning to ignore the current youth teams of the country, there are many good players in the youth system they need full support from AIFF.

No investment, no development. CORRUPTION IS ANOTHER BIG ISSUE.

Suggestion for AIFF : AIFF should assign funds to independent clubs or local teams who are performing well internationally. This would help in democratizing the football development. This will act as an incentive for the clubs like Minerva and others to take initiatives on their own and develop grassroot football. AIFF cannot handle or control everything.

To popularise football in India first football should be popularised amongst the schools students If football is popularised amongst the schools students then football will be the No.1 sport in India.

It is sad to see the poor state of football in our country. Hopeless situation. Finally it is the primary responsibility of AIFF to improve the football infrastucture, league , the ranking and quality of indian football If that is not happening, then AIFF should take responsibility and take corrective measures in a war footing. Even smaller nations having lower budgets are playing amazing football and making fast improvement. We are progressing very slow and others are progressing faster. At the asian level or even in saaf we are moving backwards. If the structure is not fixed , it doesn't matter who becomes the new coach, the results will be like this.

Now explain Stimac's statement that he put out.

No bro we don't have to play with top teams. First we have to beat our level teams then we can think about playing top teams. We have seen this in Asian Cup what happened to us in those matches. So as Kalyan sir said we have to take little steps to grow in any sport.Eventually u will see success after few years with better players and coaching.

Ok, finally I can support the AIFF president. They should have a AIFF grassroots development funding page, Indian football fans can donate money to help grassroots development.

Those who have more knowledge can you please answer few questions - 1. Does the revenue generated from cricket used to develop other sports? Asking coz revenue generated by govt from technology, telecom industry is used to develop other sector programs, industry etc. Then why not implement same in sports. 2. If under new Education policy has the govt made chosing one sports discipline mandatory for every student from 5-6th standard and have they asked the schools to fulfill the requirements if they want to keep their affliations cbse, icse etc? The reason am unaware of these is because i couldnt live in india for longer enuf time to follow the sport so challenge was time zone differences. Even used to follow EU and English football 5-7 years back. But now i would like to put more effort in supporting indian football. So, please respond to my question in a decent and humble way. Also, just an idea came in the back of my mind. Like every industry has 3rd party audits why not our national team goes through it. Who ever coached the team should prepare his team for audit and then some other 3rd party unbiased and renowned coach should be invited to check how the development of team is going on and what is good and what is missing? This can be done every year or every 6 months. This not necessarily needs to be implemented in above way but with some modifications as seen fit by the experts and committee. Coz even the coach needs a check from someone above his level of expertise especially by coaches with proven results.

Dear Kalyan sir, Subrata Cup is a very important competition, schools of all states across the country should be encouraged to participate in it. The quality of youth football should be improved, the same passing technique(Spanish style)should be taught from young to senior team...

Indian Coaches should first deliver results in ISL and I League. Need a strong foreign coach who has delivered results coaching small teams. Someone in the mould of Herve Renard who helped an unfancied Zambian national team to win the AFCON title.

Improve fitness of our players first. This is not rocket science. Implementing a strict regimen of exercise, diet and sleep. It is standard these days. There is no reason that we can't physically compete with our asian neighbors. A team that is fit for 90 mins, will automatically win more games. Lots of teams start to fade at 75 min mark. That extra 15 mins of fitness can automatically raise our standard. Plus, tiredness causing bad decision making. So while our opponents are tired for 15 mins, we have an advantage physically and mentally. This is just ellite mentality.

Modiji gives huge grants to sectors which he benefits from but he doesn't care for Indian football and he has done zero contribution in improving Indian sports!

I think India will never improve. Football tournaments or leagues in India are more like khep tournaments. Those who are in the AIFF committee of India, what are they doing? India has the highest number of boys playing football, but why is it not improving? 90% of the 100% football players in India are playing in non-professional football tournaments. And as many football tournaments as there are in India, there is no such league in any country. Kolkata league ends in 1-2 months. Durand Cup ends in 15 days. Super Cup ends in 15 days. ISL or I league is not weekly, only one country we in India play league daily. Santosh Trophy ends in 1 month. If you don't give 100% players a chance to play for 10 months, there will be no progress in this country. Example West Bengal boy, Kolkata ka premier league is playing for small team this league will end in 1 month. What will he do next? Can anyone tell? If he plays this 1 month, is he being given 12 months salary? Or that boy will try to earn 12 months by playing khep tournament? Football is a profession with a time limit of 16-35 years, take a look at the people who will pursue this profession. Don't kill those who want to enter this profession in this way. But this is the curse of India.
