India will Store it's Oil in Japan, South Korea and Singapore in Order to Diversify Storage capacity
State-run Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd (ISPRL) is considering taking storage space on rent in southeast Asia to store crude oil. It is looking in particular at Singapore, Japan and South Korea for their strategic, logistical and economic viability, said two people in the know of the developments.

@ThinkIndia751 Under Phase-I of SPR program, ISPRL completed the construction and filling of strategic crude oil in underground rock caverns with 5.33 MMT capacity at three locations namely Visakhapatnam (1.33 MMT) in Andhra Pradesh and Mangalore (1.5 MMT) & Padur (2.5 MMT) in Karnataka which can be used in emergencies particularly. Apparently there are particular requirements. Incase of storage and unprecedented prices.. they can use it. They would have brought it at a particular rate. These countries are closer and easier to work with and safer places to store them here.

Storing any reserves at a foreign soil could lead to capture just like Russian reserves and Japan and South Korea are just an extended arm of US. So the decision by a n unknown parliamentary senator would lead to India losing its oil reserves.

जापान,दक्षिण कोरिया, सिंगापुर तो (US डीप स्टेट ) के पालतू देश है,यदि usa या पश्चिमी देशों से पंगा हुआ तो ये देश ,रोक भी लगा सकते है। 🙏
but whenever we are going to do something that will hurt western country at that time they can easily block our storage if it is located in other country, we should build more storage in our country no matter how much it cost ,

Oil storage facilities can be easily destroyed by hypersonic missiles by China in case of war. It's better to store is outside.

Oil reserves aren't always 100% full. They're leased so that space can be properly utilised. Secondly, all the oil reserves are located in very close proximity to coastal areas so that the transportation is easy. 🙂

Bhai strategic oil storage tab kiya jaata jab oil ke prices kam ho- jaise ki $40/barrel ya $50/barrel. Oil storage facilities are expensive to make. Jo bhi hai natural caves hai. Anyways... God bless your buddhi.
