Unlike Nepal, India doesn't have a national language. Hindi is one of the the recognized language. I feel u as there is very less space for u to fit in everything. And beef isn't banned in India and in Nepal lol.

Yes you can eat imported beef but in Nepal nobody will dare to sell beef.. .. there are only 2-5 hotels where you can eat because politicians have an interest in that hotel but soon that is also going to stop and more harsh laws will be made against the importing beef items...

I live 2 years in ktm and I haven't witnessed a singled stalls where beef was sold so, I think you misunderstood, they can be buff(buffalo meat) which is popular in Nepal..and you think logically, the country where more 81% follows the Hinduism, how can anyone tolorate about it as myself, I wouldn't tolorate it and especially, if any other community or person tried it, then we will make a river red...most importantly, we are not an Indian to tolorate it ..

mithila isnt a state or district bro its a combined region of Nepal + some districts of Bihar and Jharkhand ,, Sita mata was found in sitamarhi ( Bihar ) but his father King Janak was king of kingdom Janakpur ( mithila ) and their capital of janakpur is present day nepal , Thats why sita maa considered as nepali
