@@abulasanyou’re correct. And it is because Taiwan have been given back to China after Japan lost the world war in 1945. So in 1945 to 1949, Taiwan and China is the same country. But after the civil war, the Kuomintang government lost the war. And the result is Chinese communist built a new country, People republic of China and the original government, which is Kuomintang retreated to Taiwan island and these two governments continue to face off until now

Vietnamese here. The thinner star only appeared after 1976 when we unified both of the North and the South side.

On 1963, Malaysian Flag have a major upgrade, from Eleven (11) pointed star to Fourteen (14) pointed star and also, from Eleven (11) red and white striped to Fourteen (14) red and white striped. I've noticed that the change are only apply to the star only.

The most annoying thing is that it was not the enemy country that led to the collapse, but their own incompetent people who spat on their own people (Gorbachev, Yeltsin)

Almost all flags in thus animation is right, there is one mistake. Since December 26 2023, The goverment changed their flag with a slight tiny new avatar. The New Kyrgyz flag had donut-like holes on the front, and instead of the Kyrgyz sun waving it's flames, It was made instead pointy but straight. Overall nice detail and video.

Great video! But I would like to add. The Philippines changed flag numerous times, not shown in the video. 1935- Establishment of Philippine Commonwealth. Use of equilateral triangle, and adoption of the blue and red from the American flag colors. The following can be simplified because it's the 2nd World War: 1941- Red side up due to war, in use by the government in exile until 1945. 1942- Japanese flag on the occupied country. 1943- Reuse of the Philippine flag by the puppet government with original colors used. 1944- Red side up for the puppet government. 1946- Third Republic with original colors. 1985- Change of hue of Blue to Light Blue 1986- Restoration of the third republic flag 1998- Change of hue of Dark to Royal Blue. Used until today

I wish Afghanistan stayed the same since 2004.

Taiwan did not have the flag of China in 1924 to 1945, It had the Japanese flag since it was a Japanese colony since 1895. The flag should have changed to China's in 1945 here.

​@@tiaoyi-bx5yiDid you learn the history at McDonald's? There was no Qing dynasty rule in Taiwan, and there was no country on the island in the first place. In 1871, Japanese fishermen were murdered by Taiwanese natives and when they asked for compensation from the Qing dynasty, they were turned down on the grounds that Taiwan was not China.

No. After the collapse of the USSR, the Russian flag looked different from 1991, and in 1994 it became the same as it was in pre-revolutionary Russia.

the video was nice but theres a little mistake, in 1943 The Philippines was a a puppet state including Myanmmar (or Burma) the Philippine flag changed a little with the dark or navy blue changed into normal blue and the Burmese flag changed into three tricolour of red,green,and yellow with a white circle in the middle with a peacock inside of it.

Malaysia 🇲🇾 there are 14 color for red and white, but you saw 13 just missing one... White on bottom

as a korean (south) I know our flag changed twice. right after we were freed from japan, the flag was the south korean flag rn but the middle part is a bit more twisted. after north korea was created we got our flag we have now
