So there’s no real theme in this video other than just appreciating India’s interesting geography and culture over the next 8 minutes. There are tons missing here, and some regions and topics received more attention than others. These bits of information are just things I’ve come across while learning about India, looking for more specific topics for videos on the country.

I blurred out some parts of the border on the red line map after posting because I’m an idiot and followed the undisputed border on Google Earth and then forgot to finish the map. Unfortunately that’s the most I could do as far as fixing it after posting. I didn’t mean to come across as biased or disrespectful in anyway. Just dropped the ball on that one.

If you wanna show disputed territories at least be neutral Many international organisations show that the Indian part of Kashmir ( that is controlled by India ) is a disputed part but at the same time they show the part that was occupied by Pakistan and China as not disputed. Again in the NE part of India, a state known as Arunachal Pradesh is a part of India and always was in India and controlled by India, is claimed by China so they show it as disputed but when India claims something rightfully they don't even care. This is the bias I am talking about.

Then I have to actively work to remember that Nepal and Tibet share them too...and I do always think Tibet and NEVER China. I'd flat out say no if someone asked if parts of the Himalayas are in China.

It is also land of spirituality, peace. And last but not the least it has unity in diversity. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 I am 19 and I as Indian went to every State of India but still every city to city and village to village are different region, wonderful cultures and Architecture you will get to see, Even in Languages and food also. You have to spent many years to explore whole India. The total number of languages spoken in India is disputed. Some sources claim there are 780 languages spoken in the country, while others say there are over 19,500 languages or dialects spoken as mother tongues. As Indian yeah not just state has different languages but in a state different district has different types of speaking from one languages. Like I am from Gujarat who speak Gujarati but in Surati form. at some other cities or district there are same Gujarati but in other form like Standard Gujarati (which includes the varieties spoken in Mumbai and Ahmedabad), Surati, Kathiyawadi, Kharwa, Khakari, Tarimukhi, Kutchi, etc. In little north and west Gujarat we have Sindhi also. And I can speak 1. Hindi, 2. English, 3. Gujarati (4 different types: Standard Gujarati, Surati, Kathiyawadi, Kutchi) 4. Marwadi, 5. Marathi, 6. Punjabi 7. Little bit of Japanese(Learning) 8.
