After watching tons of recent vlogger videos on KZread, including foXnoMad, Pakistan appears better. Its safer, cleaner and much more hospitable. I could be in Paris, and if local Parisians are trying to scam me, Paris would be way down on my favorite list.

But no one cares about specific incidents, that doesn't make a country safer, statistics is what determines safety and India has (for the most part) a lower crime rate than Pakistan). Hospitality in Pakistan is unmatched, no where in the world u will find it. I am an American and visted Pakistan several times. You can see anything from desert to lush green mountains to snow capped ones. It houses if not mistaken 8 highest peaks of the world. Experience the village or the Mountains of Islamabad you will not regret. This is my 2 cents about Pakistan.

Let's respect the history of the two countries. Both countries share the same history with a little the difference in culture. The story is a little different when it comes to hospitality though.

As an Indian, I will agree Pakistan has a lot to offer in terms of tourism destinations and experiences - be it the sites (Mohenjodaro, Harappa - the fount of South Asian civilisation, amazing landscapes in Gilgit Baltistan, Mughal relics etc) or food (ubiquitous Mughlai cuisine) or people (known to be very hospitable). However, the very act of comparing India and Pakistan is flawed. India has way more diversity - in ethnicity, language, culture, food, behaviour, landscapes and general economic development. Many foreigners tend to visit the major tourist places in North India and assume India is just that. Do they take into account the totally different cuisines, landscapes, attitudes of people, and even development in Southern India? Or the uniqueness of the North East? The Taj Mahal is the highlight for many visiting India, but do they care to visit Ajanta and Ellora - temples and caves so intricately carved out of stone more than a thousand years ago, when Mughal rulers didn’t even exist? Or the ruins of Hampi from the fourteenth century, which comprised the second largest city in the world at that time? Or the ruins of Nalanda, the world’s largest university of its time, burnt down by Muslim invaders? Do foreigners like to visit and chill out at the wonderful long coastline that India provides, or the surreal landscapes of Ladakh and Spiti Valley- India’s own slices of Tibet? Of course foreigners do visit these places. But when asked about India, they sum it all up by what they see in touristy places in north India. And, while I agree women are not generally very safe in big cities of India, the trend is more to the north of the country then elsewhere. And would you find women free to dress up as they will in deeply conservative Pakistan? As for the crowds and scammers, would you say you will find it all across the length and breadth of India? You have got it all wrong in your gross generalisations of my country. Travel the length and breadth of India - especially Southern India and the North East. See off beat tourist destinations or more specifically, the Indian heritage from the time before the Mughals. Understand the diversity of the people, and how languages and cultures change every 100 km. Understand how much progress India has made since 1991 when we liberalised our economy and how much further we have to go for a country of nearly 1.4 billion. Form your opinions accordingly. To sum up, India had an ancient Hindu and Buddhist civilisation, overridden by Islamic civilisation and then again by the British. Today what we have is a wonderful kaleidoscope of cultures, history and diversity unparalleled in any other country. We don’t call ourselves “Incredible India” in our tourism campaigns for nothing!

India doesn't have a national language, India has 22 official languages. yep, Hindi and English are lingua Franca. Don't mix all south Indian languages under one common roof as "Dravidian languages" as Tamil, 4 languages are present, each of them is different, by the way, if we go according to population Telugu is more spoken in the south of India, not Tamil.

Both countries are totally different based on their culture ! Traveling to UK and USA is different too, there are many different experiences the traveler had he liked and some experiences he prefer in India and some in Pakistan!

You visit the following cities in India: Visakhapatnam, Mysore, Indore , Gangtok, Goa state, Shimla, Chandigarh, Bhubaneshwar , Pondicherry, Mangalore and than decide which country is beautiful. Visiting two or three over populated cities will not reflect actual India.

I think every country in the world has its uniqueness yes one thing definitely make a difference HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY whoever is better in it will probably win !!

I’ve visited both countries. India is like a rollercoaster. Really exciting but no matter where you are you don’t know what’s gonna happen. And each state is completely different. Pakistan is nice, you can chill a bit more there. Food in both countries I found pretty much similar. Both are good in their own ways. But one thing you can’t base an opinion on each country with just one visit. One visit doesn’t even scratch the surface.

Well if I want to see terrorists camps and homes then I will prefer pakistan but in the other side if u want to see traditional places I will prefer india the best in world . Becoz I have been india many times and the hospitality of indians are well mannered and they always seem to make foreigner feel safe and happy . So I would prefer india more then pakistan

Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor who was Muslim and designed and built by Muslims. Lahore in Pakistan was the capital of Mughals.

Pretty unbiased conclusion ..,. In my personal opinion, India should not be compared with Pakistan as India os almost seven times bigger than Pakistan. Pakistan is way too smaller to compare. There is absolutely no comparison of a huge giant and extremely resourceful India with seven times lesser neighboring Pakistan. India should be compared with China as these both countries are almost same in population and size. If you wanna compare India with Pakistan, then compare one item of India with same seven items from Pakistan.

The quality of life and GDP per capita has some catching up to do, corruption is still a huge problem there (it’s natural do to it being authoritarian). It’s certainly way ahead of India, but it’s still not at the top just yet.
