i'm glad the video was helpful. to get the best results from any short cycles, i suggest following two main guidelines: 1 - avoid overloading - check the program table in the manual for the maximum load for each cycle. don't exceed this load size or performance will be impacted 2 - use the cycle for its intended purpose - these short washes are designed to quickly wash lightly soiled items. don't expect heavily soiled items to get fully cleaned from such cycles. hope these guidelines are helpful. any further questions, just ask.

if your model has a dedicated cleaning cycle ("autoclean" on hotpoint\indesit), use that. otherwise, select a cotton-based 90\95° cycle (white 90° on hotpoint\indesit)

beeping alone is not sufficient information to diagnose a fault. it could be normal. please give more information

Hi, my machine machine washes for a while, then on 6h, it goes back to 3h and starts beeping wight a flashing light on the 3h constantly, what could be the error with it?

this could mean one of two things: 1 - if it's just the 3h\wash light flashing then this indicates the machine is struggling to take on water 2 - if the 3h\wash led is flashing as part of a complete error code, then this is F08 which indicates a potential heater fault option 1 seems more likely considering you say it's on 6h inse when the error occurs. if it completes the wash fine but fails on rinsing, you might have an intermittent fault with the inlet valves.

I have an indesit iwdc6125 washer dryer. When trying to use any mode the top 4 lights flash green. Start/pause flashes orange. And the bottom 4 lights are all on solid. End light is solid red. Any ideas?

i think it's a board fault. judging by it erroring when you do anything at all... plus, i can't figure out an error code from this combination of LEDs (although hotpoint\indesit are known for being very unhelpful with their error codes). the closest code i can get is F12, which is board-related.

it depends how much you're willing to spend. if you got it second hand, the replacement board probably isn't economically worth doing. especially considering you may need to swap both main and control boards, plus a faulty board is an assumed diagnosis based on indesit's unreliable error codes.

Mine wont spin, when i go to start it just beeps every few seconds? just a continuous beeping every 5 seconds and the lock button is flashing red?

the lock LED flashing red indicates the machine doesn't recognise that the door is closed and\or cannot lock the door. will be a door lock fault.

See mine spins but never stops being and the lock light comes on if you know the problem 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have an issue with an idesit machine, it’s showing f05 and if i unplug it and plug it back on it will just show the program but the door is locked. Is there anyway i could unlock the door in this case without fixing the f05 error?

since f05 is a drainage error, it's unlikely the machine will unlock by itself without some of the water first being drained out. however, on some models there's an emergency door release tab at the bottom, underneath the kickplate. if yours has one, you can pull that down and the lock will release until you let go of the tab. don't do this is the water level is higher than the drum rim though.

Yea i am aware that it won’t release the door, and i have tried several ways (there is no tab to pull for emergency door unlock as you suggested, and i also tried the trick with using a string to pull open the door). Fortunately, one thing that helped my case (and maybe could help others) is that I left the machine unplugged overnight (around 6 hours ish) and when i plugged it back, initially it showed a locked icon, but after give the door a push (or two) the icon disappeared and the door unlocked itself

im glad you have it unlocked now. judging from this, it sounds likely that the water temperature was the thing stopping the machine unlocking the door than the water level itself. as for dealing with the f05 error, it's definitely worth looking in the pump filter before doing any more washes

I've got a brand new one and the water comes through but then the machine stops doesn't do anything but the timer still goes down (mines a my time one) the door just will not open at all it's stuck on the lock

if you leave it for 2 minutes or so after it fills, it should begin washing. these machines have an unnecessary pause where it does nothing for about 2 minutes after taking in water, before it then takes in more water and begins washing.

@thelaundrycookie1200 I left it for the full 59 mins it just counted down didn't spin or anything said end and its still locked 3 hours later after checked the filter and pipes and nothing

normally if it's not doing anything you'll get an error, which makes me think the drive belt has come off since it's counting down normally but the drum isn't spinning or anything. if you put it on spin, and you hear the motor but there's no movement in the drum, this will be the problem. as for the door lock, that may be a seperate issue entirely. it's a little hard to figure out without seeing a video of the machine or something.

mine keeps showing start/pause goes orange water wants to fill but then nothing happens mine won't wrok

i don't understand what you mean. are the option lights flashing while some of the cycle stage LEDs are solid? if so could you tell me which of the cycle stage LEDs are solid?

Does service mode fix the dryer not drying?

service mode won't fix anything by itself, it just helps you see what's working and what isn't. if you're noticing the drying section isn't working properly, you need to make sure the heating element is working and that the fan is spinning. also look out for error codes popping up during the drying cycle, either as a message on the display or in the form of flashing lights

i need a little more information... is the drum turning at all in the cycle, or is it washing and rinsing as usual, but just not spinning? can you hear the motor turning, but the drum doesn't seem to be rotating? is the machine draining the water as normal, or do you find it with lots of water left in the drum? does the cycle finish but the clothes are still wet, or does it stop and give an error? if so could you tell me what error you get?

it should heat up during the main wash. test the heating element by setting the program to white cotton and the temperature to 90°. if you feel no heat at all during the cycle then you need a new heating element.

that will be an error code. the meaning of the code depends on which of the progress indicator lights are solidly lit

Hi mate tried the above as the washing machine isn’t working. The error with mine is it starts and then the top 4 lights just flash continuously. Any ideas?

could you tell me which lights are lit solidly? as the 4 flashing LEDs happens for every code. it's the solid LEDs that differentiate the error codes.

end being solid indicates F16. which is meant to be a drum position sensor fault (which is for top loaders only). this is a false error code (very typical for W\H\I), and is actually the same error mine gave when i manually disconnected the NTC sensor. so if it's happening early on it may be heater or NTC related. especially if it washes for a few minutes with water in before erroring. though it's hard to tell for sure without having it in front of me.

when you say it won't drain, do you hear the pump activate? and is this before the error shows up? if so then you should check the filter as that may be the culprit. if the error shows before it's supposed to drain then it's not the pump or filter. the heater and\or NTC should be simple enough to swap, if you know what you're doing. i'd suggest asking an engineer to look at it anyway before buying any parts, since it's showing a false error.

that error is F12 which is a communication error between the control board and the main board. could be a wiring issue or an issue with the board itself. as a result, you'll likely need an engineer to help you with this
