Independence Chevelle - Procharger Mock-Up and Engine Paint! (Plus after Dyno Health Assessment)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

You'll NEVER guess the color a guy is going with! I've had a vision for a few years, and I'm finally following through with it. It has a full name, and theme. Let's take a health check after the dyno, clean the block, paint it, then setup the procharger, headers, PS, and Holley to check out the setup before installation Into the Independence Chevelle. Bonus sparkalator reading information!
PORCELAIN (video file was damaged)
The porcelain shows up pre-ignition and detonation (timing/octane). To look for the first/beginning signs of detonation look at the white porcelain for tiny black specks or shiny specks of aluminum that have fused to the porcelain. One step beyond the black specks, will be tiny specks/balls of aluminum coming off the pistons that will be fused to white porcelain. Next step - rods will be knockin hello

About a year ago when the first episode of Independence hit the KZreads, I would’ve never envisioned how cool the Independence Chevelle would become. The poor car went from being food for the car crusher, to being an iconic story of American hard work. It’s a labor of love, and it shows. I can’t compliment Derek enough for all the effort, and with all the fan support, it feels like the whole country is behind it. LONG LIVE INDEPENDENCE! 🇺🇸

@@purpleskerple17 -- yeah, underestimating Derek's a mistake. I still think, since he knows how rotten the car was, how close the front end was to scattering itself across three states from one good pothole punch, he probably had to have a bit of a cheek pucker holding himself to the remains of the crossmember by way of the rodent-pee-soaked seat. The drive was a roll of the dice but content value? The cheek pucker will heal, content rules the day. (yeah, I've driven some rancid junk too far a few times but this guy just sends it.)

What I might add is that different fuel can change they way you read a plug. Independence is covering all the bases. VGG is proud of Veterans. When I got my capilator in the mail it came in a beautiful salute to veterans package. A guy hung that dang ol' wrapper on the garage wall cuz it was just too cool. I'm Canadian and my best friend served in Afghanistan. He lost a family member while they were on their second tour. I'm very proud of them. I'm proud of their willingness to sacrifice. I'm proud that I still have one of them in my life and I'm proud that I have the privilege to know that kind of strength and call these Men my friends. Independence has become more than just a project car. It's a symbol of what freedom allows. I remember when that revival dropped on KZread. I was new to the channel and immediately hooked. I'm gonna be a bit sad when she does her first burn out cuz that means she's built.....But watching all the eagle fly is gonna be so satisfying....I think it will be a wonderful tribute to Veterans and Freedom the world over!
