@@symonpaul6190 I m not an expert either bro, but don't u think, when jadega in the semi final started kicking the run rate, dhoni still played with poor run rate, not even taking a single every 2 balls, which put pressure back on ravindra jadega coz of which he got out, and then the only player left was dhoni and he got out. I m just saying all this coz I really think he nowhere played to his potential in the big events except the ICC world Cup 2011.

I remember. I couldn't sleep whole night. My eyes were full of tears. I can't forget that day. 2015 semi final did not hurt me a lot but 2019😢, we were up in first half then in the second half everything just fall apart. We were table topper but only 45 minutes of bad cricket cost us a well deserved world cup. It still hurts me. Maybe 2023 world cup win can heal the wounds. But if that semi final exit happens again..........

Performance in crunch situations is what decides a team's greatness. New Zealand were the better team on that day, and really deserved to be in the final.

I did not cry but I was upset !I too was in my coaching centre , but we studied and in the middle looked at scoreboards. India was in tatters 3 wickets in quick succession! Actually I had been so used to heartbreaks, that 2019 CWC sf was a bit similar for me to digest. Actually before the CWC, IPL was there and CSK(I am CSK fan) lost to MI by 1 run so for me heartbreaks were natural, . India losing by 18 runs actually did not make me cry, but left me disappointed, but at the end remember :"The better team with TEAMWORK will ALWAYS win, irrespective of your support". India were stronger but New Zealand had better teamwork and they won.

I still remember this day... Coming back from my MATHS tution classes and stayed at a shop in market to watch the final moments .. After MSD's runout everyone in the market stopped watching it and started going back for their work and homes but i and the shopkeeper still watching it ... I was hoping for a Miracle that God please somehow Chahal got the edge in his bat and ball goes to four and we will win but at the end i was numb... After coming back home, I cried for a long time just by remembering that MSD's runout scene .. 🙂🇮🇳

Exactly ....I think they thought Nz is weaker than them....also the team management did nothing , if they promote dhoni instead of risab at 5/3 the results could be different .....but alas it's a bad day for India and we lost the WC 😔😔
