They also been in 5 out of 6 Consecutive World Cup finals between 2007 and 2014 (ODI & T20 combined), that's never head of and wont ever be repeated ! - Also, Malinga taking Double Hatrick (4-wickets in a row) Twice, Sri Lanka getting Zimbabwe All-Out for 35 is the Lowest ODI score in history and so on. There are few dozen World records to add to a list, but I guess the ones listed here are some of the main ones !

That’s cz Jayasooriya could have broken the highest test runs in an innings record..at that time it was Brian Lara’s record of 375..Jayasooriya missed it by 35 runs and back then it was hard to get a result from a test match..not like now a days..so SL team decided to bat through out cz it’s anyway a no result game..hope this helps you
