Incredible Underwater Drone Video - Fish Attacking Jigs!

Спорт

With my new Underwater Camera Drone I was able to use my smartphone to position the camera while watching live video of what was happening under the water! I first used the drone to learn new things about one of my favorite fishing spots, then positioned it to watch how fish were reacting to my lure! What I learned watching the underwater action will definitely help me catch more fish on future trips.

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzread.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

As an old retired marine biologist and fisherman, I love when the science shows up in the video. Don't know what you did in your previous life but I would suspect it had something to do with research. You isolate variables as best as possible and that gives it away. Excellent work and thanks.

John, outstanding, this is PRECISELY what I experienced on a recent trip on the Western end. With boats all around me giving up and constantly moving around, I stayed on one spot and didn't pester with the rod too much. I used a stiff rod, strong line, tight drag and no slack in the line, to avoid being pulled into rocks. The result: a limit of larger blackfish in under 15 minutes while everyone else was catching shorts. SO YOU ARE SPOT ON WITH THIS VIDEO. WELL DONE!

Well done, your perseverance paid off. I like how you show some of the humbling hurdles before getting to this point as well. The footage and your commentary are both revealing and reinforcing, so thank you. I agree with your observation on lifting the jig too much, crazy that this was seemingly a slower day from up top, I think you will even notice differences in the blackfish behaviour later in the season after the porgies and other interference fish leave, that is if you are still around in November... Looking forward to your future experiments with this and how you overcome the new hurdles that go along with them

That worked in low current calm water similar to this footage. Now I use a GoPro on 28’ telescopic pole and as long as the current isn’t too strong the video is very stabile and a amazing.
