@@NRVOutdoors You just have to mix the fishing experience with other things like food and treats they like! My daughter in her 30s likes to hunt and fish! We rolled it all into a good experience. 👍

The bugs are legit. I still have a few black ones, and several brown ones. Gonna have to order more at some point before next trout season, but in the meantime they are tearing up fallfish, sunfish and rock bass in my local creeks.

IMHO, those rock bass are far superior table fare compared to hatchery trout. I would have taken it home. Catch and release into bacon grease.

Make sure you get a drag free drift. Keep your line size small, especially if the water is very clear. Two pound or four pound test. Most likely these are wild trout. And they can be difficult.

Just curious how you go about catch and releasing in this stream. I inquired about it one time and they told me absolutely no catch and release. Had to keep all you kept

We went a 2 weeks ago and the lady that owns the place told us straight up *I dont care how you get your limit just try to get it* I don't care if you catch and release

I don't mean to be rude, but do you do all this talking while you're on the water? Or do you edit it in later. Just surprised that you can catch normally-spooky trout while making this much noise and being so very close to them. And conventional wisdom is that if you can see them, they can see you...right? I guess, like everything else fishing, the rules change by the minute.

I do all the narrating on the water. I also wear dark colors and move slow and steady. I can usually sneak right to them

The fish cant hear you they can only see you and if you sneak up behind them, they can't see you but if you show up Infront they will see you and might not bite.
