Chris and I were practicing for some upcoming tournaments. Trying to get the lake dialed in when we found this area. Started out punching some matted vegetation that produced only one bite. Knowing they were not under the matts, we decided to start throwing popping frogs. This lead to in incredible day. I believe we hit it a day early in the spawning faze as we caught a bunch of really big males. I will link the rods and baits that I used in this video if anyone is interested, please check them out.
