Put of the HUNDREDS of lathe operators I've watched over the years, you are THE FIRST one to use that special cut out tool that didn't waste all the material everyone else loses when gouging out the inside of the bowl. Why hasn't anyone else figured that out like you have? This sets you apart from all others. Well Done!

I have poured resin before, but what is the pressure pot for?

@@mnotten1 vacuum to remove all air bubbles trapped in resin . flame heat, vibration and vacuum pressure are all ways to eliminate bubbles

I love the shimmering pigments you use in the resin. It's a gorgeous piece that displays the wood grains.

Love the colour you chose in the epoxy, love the natural combination.

Drift wood pieces I have personally collected and received from a talented friend, now a World Bank Consultant. But your skill and talent is pure inspiration. I wish my Dad could have seen this. He made some incredible pieces out of rosewood and sandalwood with just a chisel, kitchen knife, bare hands and imagination ❤

David, this has to be one of the most beautiful bowls I have seen. And I like how you saved the middle for a future turning instead of turning it into waste. Cheers, from Canada.
