part of the double surge thing is that the game world has become crowded in recent years. They've been deliberately adding extra space where they can.

there is something very satisfying about watching a video like this and already having everything mentioned. that said i don't have nexus because im so busy during the holidays i cant grind out a boss. but its not out of my wheel house and after the new year that will be the first thing i get.

You don't need to do a boss to get the first tier 60 nexus. Just bring an ensouled bar, a silver bar, and a cut sapphire to Kili's smithing place, then you go up to where the Necro Runes are made to activate it. It literally takes like five minutes to have the basic nexus for storing necro runes.

The stark difference between having a zuk cape and not is honestly too much. There is such a big difference in dps and completely changes the way you encounter a fight. I never use living death because I don't have the zuk cape. I'm also too shit to be able to get it myself and stay feeling subpar because of the lack of zuk cape.

Follow RS Guy guide on how to get the Zuk cape. It took me like 3 frustrating days of failing and flailing but eventually you’ll get it. Even if you have to make some obsidian armor and pay Tokio to reduce damage. You can do it!

I can highly recommend Jasper72 Zuk guide. It's a little long for a video, but he explains stuff so simply, and with minimal gear setup, and shows examples of good and bad attempts, where you can actually relate to the fight. That video in particular helped me massively, even tho I've watched a lot of different Zuk guide - The one that Jasper provides was the best guide for me at least.

I recently got shadow components recently with my brooch of the gods. I have scavenger/looting on an attuned crystal bow for afk farming stuff. The undead codex is so expensive right now I just farmed the comps in my port and then leveled the augmented gear in shattered worlds to make my own. Double surge is just a nice quality of life boost for getting around in general. The artificer's measure is great for making flasks since you will get a bunch of free ones in the process and they are about 16K each. Get a nice set of hybrid gear. My hybrid armor is my go-to armor for most non bossing mobs since it doesn't require maintenance, has decent passives and is good enough for 99% of things. I don't have to think about what combat style I need with it.

I really like RuneScape but coming back after a long time is overwhelming with all the inventions perks, codex’s, item switching, relics, situational boosts, hidden passive abilities… It’s pretty hard to understand for returning/new players when something increases some stat by 1-5% if whatever condition is met but you shouldn’t use it for this situation and you can get it unlocked by completing some quest and it becomes a passive stat. Super complicated

Just a heads up Conservation of Energy Relic is actually 118 Archeology, but you can get it from 110 (like you said) if you boost.

Speaking of relics, which relics do you use? Do you swap them up for different bosses? If so, what's your standard go-to selection?

was watching some guides on gearing slowly for mage, magic and range specific each video. but i would love a more recent one. they are kinda outdated.

the other MAJOR possitive for necromancy to me is that the gear is none degradable. with how strong it is, where encro is strong it is also like 100% more cost effective too.

Ring of death is the meta for zammy p7. You see pros use it and 1 cycle 250k damage at full hp

*Fun fact:* The *Brooch’s* ability to spawn *Blessings* can proc when gaining *Slayer XP,* since *Slayer* is a *Support* skill, so you get even more components than if you just used the *Scavenging* perk.

Did you get some new sound equipment? Your voice sounds crispy af and very niiiiiice.

EOF might get a resurgence with the combat beta changes so probably a good idea to grab one if only to sell it later. Definitely worth unlocking binding contracts since the summons are almost always used, so good money or cheaper summons. Tome of Um definitely a must grab for Necro. Would also recommend getting fort upgraded for anyone who hasn't...Definitely seems like there's gonna be atleast 3 more quests based on what the last one set up It's also il-loo-yan-kah for the future, but it's funnier hearing you spout out a bunch of gibberish

A resurgence? To my knowledge eof is best in slot for just about everything. What necklace do you wear most of you don’t mind me asking?

If you can afford things like sana's fyretorch then do yourself a favor and either farm or buy a pair of cinderbane gloves. They add a mess of passive dps to poisonable bosses and mobs and there are a lot of them.
