Today i explore an abandoned house lost in the mountains for decades, this abandoned house is the definition of a Prewar time capsule and has been left completely frozen in time for a number of decades in the mountains, This hidden gem of an abandoned house sits untouched in the welsh countryside with the beds still made, dinner table still set and vintage furniture dating back to over a hundred years. As this beautiful abandoned house is slowly decaying and being taken back by nature this could be the last chance to see how the family that once lived here lived. join me as i explore this abandoned house left completely frozen in time for nearly 60 years and see what remains inside.
if you enjoy exploring abandoned places then stick around as i upload weekly

So sad these mansions are falling into decay. They represent a different era for sure.

I think that everytime I watch one of his videos. Such beautiful homes wasting away. I don't understand why they're not upkept by the city or county or whatever and resold or rented out

happy 2024 im from australia im thinking have small imagain thinking this place is abound in around 1997/98 in 1990-1996 some one used it as a hospital? i could clealy hear a ghost walking next to with adam till matt show up at the bottom steps out of nowhere adam look at a caldona that says novomber 2016 so someone is still using this place just shauting coming/or going
The picture on the easel looked like American actress Grace Kelly who married Prince Albert of Monaco. Also you need to prime a hand pump to get water. What a fabulous place. Please someone restore it!

I thought immediately of Grace Kelly. Why her photo would be there I could think of no reason. We seem to think alike - I was thinking the pump would need priming, but it's likely the leathers inside the pump probably would need replacing as well. Interesting property. I heard somewhere that the boy's school was closed down in the 1980s due to abuse of the students.
These mansions should be kept as historical buildings. Absolutely stunning. Gothic splendour. I hope they take it back to it's original beauty. Great find Adam and Matt!!! 😊

Has a lot of asbestos . Hopefully it can be removed and restored as a tourist attraction and preserved.
Its almost criminal leaving homes to rot and ruin and to see such beautiful buildings just decay is so sad

Hey man. I use to work there up until the day it shut its doors. I was one of 2 chefs in the kitchen. Mad what’s happened to it after only 8 years! There’s so many stories you don’t know bout it!!

Wouldn’t it be nice if this building could be saved and used as accommodation for homeless veterans
From 7:26 as your walking through the door a woman’s voice sounds like she’s saying good morning
FANTASTIC TO SEE YOU AND MATT DOING THIS TOGETHER.CAN,T BE BEATEN

Beautiful pic of Grace Kelly? Looking forward to this 😊
The room with Sluice on the door was exactly that, the sluice room (pronounced to rhyme with moose) was where the bedpans/ commodes were cleaned and sanitary items kept. I have cleaned many a bedpan/ bottle in a sluice room in my time. Great explore of a beautiful place.

This mansion is absolutely stunning! One of the best explores EVER! Some of it in great condition some of it NOT! It has a lot of history would be great if it could be renovated to its former glory. Thank you so much Adam & Matt for taking the time to show us all around this beautiful mansion. ❤❤🥰👍
I think it's more a care home than a hospital. The room that had the chart on the wall with patient and Dr names is very typical of a nurses station in a care home. Absolutely stunning place Adam. That corridor, which arched round with a garden view, made me think of the game Resident Evil where the pictures of the 7 ages of man were hung. Really enjoyed this one Adam. Thank you❣️

Agree with you think it was a care home.
Soon 300 000 explorers! 😀 I remember when it was 140 000! You are well worth it!!! Keep up the good work!😀👍
Thank you for this one. It always amazes me how some people lived in such a huge house. The architecture is incredible! No homes are built like that any more. Just amazing.😊
You are back with Matt, my two favourite explorers, love it when you are together❤
😂 you always make me smile Adam…Sluice is the room where bed pans, etc would be “sluiced” ( rinsed) off. Used to have them in hospitals where they contained a waste disposal, rinse then hot wash…so imagine it was in use when the building used for elderly folk. Absolutely stunning place Adam, chandelier’s, a beautiful photo of Grace Kelly on the easel when you came in, and such beautiful plasterwork on the ceilings, over doors, fireplaces. It’s a disgrace to allow this amazing place to get damp, black mould…I think this should be taken over by the local authorities and used for something where people can enjoy it again…it’s criminal to let it go to rack and ruin. So glad your documenting what it’s like, because as you say…they don’t make places like this because of cost anymore. Thankyou Adam…but have to say my heart sank when you walked into that green mould room, minus a mask! Tut! 🙄 sigh! Please take care! you KNOW it’s no fun getting lung infections! 😥…love Helen 👩🦳🫶😘

Unfortunately local authorities don't have money to refurb these buildings. There is a similar one near me. It's permanently locked up. Once the roof goes and they get into this state it's not economical to bring them back. I used to work in one. The fees paid by the residents plus the staff/energy costs has meant that they are rarely viable nowadays. Sad.
@helencheadle5709

@@joolzmurray5751 on reflection, I can understand that, but it’s almost as if we should be custodians for future generations to see such impressive buildings , as they won’t be built like this again. Pity the lottery or go fund me couldn’t be pursuaded to help… 🙏… best wishes! 👩🦳💐

In the corner of that 'sluice' room was an old autoclave. Hospitals use them. No known microbe can survive autoclaving.

In the US, we call the sluice room a dirty utility room. The fixture we use to rinse bedpans is called a hopper. It looks like a giant toilet.
Absolutely fab place such a shame just rotting away. You should go back, make contact with the spirits, bet they could tell a story.

Well Adam, you didn’t fail us…yet another great find and explore this week! You and Matt did another great job. Thanks for having us along. 🙂🙃😋 Safe Travels until next time 🫶🏻
Nice to see you two guys working together again.
Straight away Adam, that's my dream hallway!, complete with fireplace for a roaring fire, Christmas garlands twisting up the handrail...room for two trees sparkling away...omg, why can't these places land in the hands of people who would genuinely love them instead of the very rich!
That beautiful building must be haunted ! Such a crying shame that it has fallen into such disrepair. You can imagine the soirées they had there and can almost hear the sound of the quartet !
Thank you Adam and Matt, loved this beautiful mansion, love to see it restored, such a shame to be left and rotting away.
Wow this place is absolutely stunning - I hope someone restores it - it's so sad to see them just left 😢 Thank you so much for showing us around 😊 Love your videos Adam 🥰
Definitely a care home Adam and I think the corridor with painted doors etc is possibly for people who suffer from memory loss / dementia.I have seen some similar in homes I have worked in and that room with the sink could be a sluice room , lovely place
That was amazing!! Hope that building can be saved!!!

GT was just there. It apparently was a home, school and care facility at different times. Its nice to see snot nosed pukes have not trashed the place. It should be placed on a protected historical list and re open for tours. Absolutely gorgeous building.

I can't believe this is left empty. It is incredible. Thank you both.
Loved hearing a bit of Welsh in this video Adam. Also really awesome property it would have been the place of dreams once.
Adam and Matt are great explorers. The mansion is very big.The skylight is amazing and the stairway and chandelier. Thanks, for the video from Morrow Ga..
What an epic explore such a shame it's abandoned
This is a magnificent beautiful place it would be great done up and restored to it's original status but it's too much money
Look’s very beautiful! Can’t wait to see this place!
Great explore! Care home for the rich back in the day
That was definitely a hospital!! I bet it is haunted too. It was once a beautiful place. Thanks guys😊
Ghost Theory had the same type of happening while they were in the staging room. They couldn't determine where the noise was coming from though. Looks like you may have found the source.
What a place, absolutely love the beautiful staircase marble pillars and skylight. Sad to see it left to decay like this. Great explore and video as always Adam ❤.
Thank you. I like it when you go down every hallway and show us the rooms, even when they are empty, because it helps to see how the inside of a huge place like this matches the massive-looking outside.
Looking forward to watching... hopefully there'll be some spooks 🥰

Wow what an amazing place, can't believe it's been left abandoned and still to this day empty, would love to have seen it in it's full glory when it was a home, it's stunning architecture all over the place is gorgeous. Nice find lads, well done, another fantastic video, beautiful
As always so excited and can't wait!!!👻🥰
Great content and love the history aspect of it.That picture in the middle of the room on an easel is Grace Kelly, she is so beautiful. Cheers for the tour boy's 😊 reminds me of an old people's home .xxx
That room which looked like a space for changing babies, I think was a slosh room like they have in hospital, for emptying bed pans. This is one of your best explores, Adam its such a magnificent mansion. I hope it gets saved and restored and not sold to a money mad property developer.
Beautiful house! Let’s hope no destruction Thanks for the look Adam x
SOMEONE SOMEWHERE STILL OWNS THIS FANTASTIC PROPERTY.
Australia is poised for the next episode and my breath is baited ,cant wait😮
Hi Adam and Matt. What a beautiful find. Such detail in the architecture and so beautiful. Thanks for the share. Elly.
I'm amazed all these beautiful places you find and you certainly do display them well and here's hoping your channel grows and grows and grows thank you so much for these wonderful places
Definitely getting nursing home vibes from the modernized area, not so much hospital. Beautiful mansion! It would have been a place to die with dignity for sure.
Great explore. I would live in that place. The cubbies in the basement look like places to store bodies like in an old underground mortuary.

That's what I thought too and all numbered. The smaller ones maybe for babies. Could this have at one time way long ago been a workhouse and they renovated it to be fancier and turned into a care home for all ages? I'm not sure if you had such buildings in the south of England but those cubbies (if they were used for wine, that'd be a helluva lot of wine)! 😬
I very rarely comment as my I pad wont let me and I have to go to my phone, I have watched every single episode of your channel and although I have never met you or cuddled Dupes I feel like you are friends and I am so very very sorry for your loss.. I know loss and can imagine your grief.. sending my love to you and sending my blessings to the beautiful Rupie Dupie, sleep well beautiful bunny xx

In love with this beautiful mansion 🖤
HII Adam im a big fan I, love ur vieosss, Edit: hope u get 1m subscribers
Beautiful mansion, why have they left it to rot and decay, wouldn’t cost that much to renovate and make into a hotel or spa, that chandelier was amazing, and the angels on the coving, thanks for showing us round Adam, nice to see you and Matt together again.
Such a shame this building has been abandoned. I hope someone renovates it before it falls into further decay. Hopefully it can be lived in once again, turned into a hotel, or put to some other use.

If it was a nursing home, several years ago, a policy came in, making that all rooms should have a on suite.
This one is still able to be saved
What an awesome find Adam. Really enjoyable, thx so much.
