Inclusion Revolution | Daisy Auger Domínguez | TEDxPearlStreet

Diversity and Inclusion Strategist Daisy Auger-Domínguez invites us to consider why creating workplaces where everyone feels heard, valued and seen is hard, complex and at times emotionally triggering. According to Daisy, when we all start being the allies we want to be, showing up and for our colleagues, and persisting through discomfort and doing the difficult work to ensure that each and every team member is seen, heard and valued, only then we can make lasting and meaningful change.
SPEAKER BIO: Daisy Auger-Domínguez has made it her mission to make workplaces more equitable, compassionate and inclusive. A human capital executive and workplace culture strategist, Daisy inspires and equips global organizations to think inclusively, lead with purpose, embrace courage and shape the future of work. As the Chief People Officer at VICE Media Group, Daisy shapes, builds and reinforces the culture of the Vice teams, promotes professional growth, engagement and development, helps to accelerate business performance, and champions an equitable and inclusive employee experience. hold for bio This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Just curious: when you have coworkers who for whatever reason simply wish to just work and not participate in your "culture", what do you do? Do you support diversity of thought?

When I hear a person talk about inclusion, I am 100% certain they do not believe in inclusion of thought. God forbid you think differently from them!
