I love that support groups like this exist for youths. I wish I had this as a kid/teen. I wish I could find a support group for older trans coming out late in life.

This film drove me to happy tears. as a closeted trans boy I really needed to see this, amazing film!!

For anyone closeted Trans boy: If you celebrate Halloween (some people don’t) then you can ask your parents for a binder for your costume and just wear it when they’re not looking. I’m not trans but I am genderfluid so I’ll try to do this during Halloween season. Merry whatever time of year you want. (I like Halloween)

This started creepy and is moving forward. I am straight. Someday I want to be knowledgeable to help someone. In my youth I was so horrible to Trans and Queer folk. Until I learned that people me were part of the problem. Kids were killing themselves. I want to help but I wish to understand better.

I would appreciate if in the future you didn't use the Q slur to refer to us as a collective and only use it on people you know are comfortable with it. I was bullied and spat on while being called that word and I hate every time I have to see it. (And I'm young I'm 27 so it's not a thing of the past) Just say LGBT+ please and thank you

@@my123mon It is, you could say we’re reclaiming it. Plenty older gen lgbt would still see it as a slur, and we gotta respect that. They were the ones fighting for our rights.

We are all humans and deserve to be loved for who we are.

@@cankul7745 you're welcome dude, I'm struggling with my transition still at the moment (5 months on Estradiol gel 1.5mg) and not getting results fast enough, like I feel my body wants more because I get tingly and warm but my body still feels hungry for more, you know? Anyway, from a trans sister to a trans bother, if life gets you down, remember that we're all valid.

@@jonathansmithtv1763 just because they may be trans in a different direction doesnt mean that people who are the other way around cant relate ive talked to many trans women before and we are more alike than most people think. people seem to think that we are so vastly different because one is a man and one is a woman but once you hear the experiences of others who are different you learn that youre not so different :) (also pretty sure julian is a trans guy bc in the description hes referred to as "he")

That was beautiful!! Trans joy is something I can always use more of!

As a trans boy who is struggling with his identity right now, this made me feel so strong and feel like I can actually be myself. This helped me a lot, thank you so much.

the eternal trans comment really got me. i'm nonbinary and have a sort of.. mild yet constant gender dysphoria. it used to be a lot worse, but after learning to be patient with the world and the people who didn't accept me, (did that through internal pronoun correction), it got a lot better. this is an incredible short film. i hope one day i can be a lighthouse like theo

i remember about 3 to 4 years ago i was really scared about letting people know that i was trans and i felt like i would be judged by everyone and i was right my family didnt support me it really broke me, they tried to fix me and make me "normal" and took me to church everyday and its been 1 year since i came out and im still being bullied at school for it.i didnt fit in with the guys because they knew me since i was a girl and they never saw me as a real boy and the girls they would do stuff that i wasnt really interested in so i felt the "being trans is a lonely time" because i would (still do) hang out by myself the whole school day the only times i would be hanging with someone would either be the counselors of my schools or my past/current teachers. my family dont talk to me and if they do its too find out if im "normal"again. school was a really hard time for me especially because the guys would say stuff to me like they were gonna fight me and just made fun of me and the girls did the same i cried so much at school i would go into the bathroom stall and stay there till my break was over and just drowned in sadness i wish someone was there for me but it made me stronger, now i dont get as mad because even tho they dont see me as a boy other people do and support me now.

You are around people, you are lonely. Your family, lonely. I only feel a little supported if i am alone. At least i can comfort myself a little

i sympathize with the human condition and the sadness of feeling odd and out of place but taking a shot every single day for the rest of your life doing surgeries to an obsessive level and demanding that the word sees how you feel is not the answer who cares of you like what you like skirts as a man or shaving your hair as a girl these personalities and fashion choices don't make you male or female your biology does i know it may seem unfair i for example would rather have a non human experience but within the reality we live in it's impossible take the white pill accept yourself within nature as part of nature with it's sweetness and bitterness you will feel far much fulfilment when you look back and say "waw i did it" peer pressure can be strong but you're stronger stay healthy and love and accept yourself you're not born in a wrong body there's nothing wrong about you ❤️
