This town seems to have a lot of sirens, so I understand why they disconnected this one. Overcoverage isn't that bad, but it *is* expensive.

That Allertor is low mounted on steroids. That is just barely taller than a car. Also that ambiance is terrifying

I can hear the active Allertor in the ambience. Also, to me, that distant Sentry (the 10V, I'm assuming based on the map) sounds like an ACA Hurricane. It probably doesn't help that the distance makes the wind-up sound quick, like the Hurricane's.

Nice video - you are MISSING an allertor on your map! There is a 4th one southeast of the 10V on 15th Street at a gravel drive on a tower! So they have a total of 4 allertors!

Thanks! Yeah I have that Allertor marked now. Somebody else told me about it a while back. Out of the 4 Allertors only 1 is active though sadly

They had a 5th one next to where the 16v1t-b is, it had a model 2 with it as well. A photo was taken in 2005 of it

I didn’t even know it was there, but that one is inactive now. There’s only 1 active Allertor and it’s on the northwest part of town on 2nd St

@@AndrewWT5020 they could goto rural towns in Tennessee like crossville,TN needs sirens after 4 close calls with dangerous tornados in the past 2 yrs they can refurbish them put them on steel poles by parks at least we have a decommissioned thunderbolt 1000T that’s been inactive since 1997 when they got rid of there sentry 10V in downtown fire station the thunderbolt still stands but they’ve thought of using it again and the allertors would help a lot especially in city parks when people aren’t on there phones

There’s only 1 active Allertor cause the rest were shut off after they got the Sentries. Someone else would have to go there cause I’m not going back since it’s 4 1/2 hours away from me

We go up at 4AM to make it to this test and when I realized it wasn’t going off that was my response. We had gotten up super early and drove nearly 5 hours for nothing so I was shocked and annoyed

@@AndrewWT5020 Ow that sucks. There was one time I went to Edmond and yes I know the schedule. It was the first Saturday of September of 2020 and I went to the north side of Edmond and they didn't sound. I was like "EDMOND YOU SUCK!!!" And yes that sucks.

All the towns in the county are covered very well so with that their best bet would be sending them to other cities across the state or to city in another state that wants sirens
