It is really nice to see wildlife removal specialists who obviously care so much about the animals! I have a fair amount of animal experience, but none with raccoons until recently. I had to do a "C-Section" on our attic to remove three babies, I guess about 6 weeks old (mom was locked out a few hours earlier). I didn't handle them much, but just carrying them to the backyard where I knew mom would find them made me realize how darn cute they are. No wonder you love them!

Oh my gosh, you folks are angels to the furry & feathered friends who we share this planet with and offer peace of mind to those that need your services, but I was holding my breath with feelings of hugeeee anxiety as you walked all over that roof, filming the damage and vulnerable spots, lol. You are one brave and amazing woman!

Got to say that the work you people do is wonderful, as well as entertaining and educational. As an outside observation though, the common use of timber based shingle on roofs (rooves?) in North America sure encourages these intrusions, here in the UK we don’t have raccoons but we also have slate or tile reroof tiles which deter any animal ingress.

Newer homes in North America and also depending what states. Mostly in the southwest, the homes have clay brick roofs. I think because of the South American influence or supplies available south of the border.

I wish we had a company like gates here! A possum got under my house and under my big back deck. It's living here. I have called endless companies. Either they don't have a trapper or they want to charge me 2k or more to leave a trap for 5 days to try to catch the animal. To seal up the damage done so no wildlife can get back in is extra. God knows how much that will be!! Its strange because I have 4 dogs. Normally that would keep wildlife away. I'm so frustrated. I don't want the animal harmed. I just want it removed and released somewhere else but for 2k or more to just leave a trap? I think not! We only have the Virginia opposum here in the states. I think maybe it's a momma who has babies in her pouch. The area she's going in and out of under the house is where my dryer vent is. She has knocked my dryer vent back through the opening and it's under the house now.

    - Is it normal for most of the litter to be males? I mean, that is a good thing population wise. Also, where do all these male racoons tend to live? In trees 🌳? Ik some at my house stay in our big tree *&&* the mom lives under our porch with her babies *&&* another mom && babies comes from under the fence to eat catfood every night that we feed them. 🥹🦝

It's interesting that you are allowed to relocate raccoons. In California it is against fish and wildlife regulations to relocate captured raccoons. You've got to put them down. Raccoons are not threatened, they're actually quite abundant and at times, annoying and destructive.

Actually we are not allowed to here because they won’t survive in a new location. But, they get the mom to do the relocating. If she doesn’t they go to wildlife rehab.

i dont understand the Point to disrupt them and take them out while their nursing. Just flick the Roof , there is enough Space and raccoons dont pee where they Nesting . They Are really clean . They Go out when they Are old enough. Iam a relaxed houseowner.
