Wow, reminds me of my youth almost 20 yrs ago. Great cover, nice tone! This song is what got me into bass playing actually. Electric guitar is my true comfort zone, but I found bass very enigmatic & challenging-I can’t hear it lol, it’s always hiding in the drum kick parts. So mysterious I tried to learn & play one. And back then- this song’s intro riff + that short lick before verse 2 took me very long time to learn because I can’t decipher it. My church bassist and friend sat with me listening to this song, and in 5 minutes, he got it all by ear and showed me a demo. Wow, I said to myself, i hope i have that ear & appreciation for bass.. until now, it’s a long learning process for me.
